Dude ur son needz a whhhhole lot more training b4 he stepz n2 the ring with bam bam. Keep training him tho' maybe by the time he'z 14 he'll have enuff ring skillz 2 deal with bam.
have u ever been knocked out? remember how it feels? as teens & adults our skulls are hard & have fully developed.....a childs skull takes much longer to fully harden....yes the hole in the top of the head may be closed; but still remains much softer than a adults skull. just something to consider.
if someone can't quote "exactally" what someone said......then it shouldn't be twisted around to make the other party's point more valid. show me where i said word for word; ANYTHING about "head bashing"...when people choose to put untruths in others's mouths that's the sign of a trouble maker.
i know alot of boxers and they dont all get that way... besides its a great sport for development and teaches young people discipline confidence and makes them better members of society
@maleekflavas i don't doubt the character it builds; i'm just speaking of the "possble" long term outcome. later on when they get bigger & stronger & the blows land harder. sure u may know a lot of boxers who may not have gotten hurt seriously; but that's them...u can't gage off of them. every indiv, is totally different. i'm saying why take the chance? now if he just boxes how u meantioned above & self defense; then hats off 2u.
@bigblueowx ANY FIGHTER will tell u how a knockout accures;.it's when the brain is hit hard enuf & get's "sloshed" around in the skull & enuf of those will cause brain permanant damage. pros do tons of excercizes 2 build neck strength to help lessen the brain sloshing around.
just think; it's already bad for u. what about if the sloshing starts early in life? the indiv. will have a hard time mentally functioning thru his young life. i'm not replying just cause i like 2 argue back'n forth. .my reply is of valid concern.
cont. doesn't work out then how will he qualify for a job to take care of himself & his family with brain damage. please. consider that thought. what did u think i was gonna say
cont. is cool but when they are pit against each other with their young brains being pounded & sloshed around in their li'l skulls is quite dangerous. u see the later results of brain slowing in many boxers. what if boxing
@bigblueowx - they are rarely hitting each other were you can call it "brain bashing". Not sure if it is the case with these little guys, but in Germany, they don't let them hit in the head area.
@TRXDEAN - They are kids. Nobody should be putting money down on them, nor giving any form of negative feedback. Boxing is about learning respect, and discipline, not beating someone up. Very few will ever make money in the sport.

being that ur mind is already made up & u chose not to effectively read nor understood my concerns there's no reason to continue this back'n forth.
