Chaos is a perfect example of shoddy game design. Same fight three times over? Nice thinking... Dissidia is otherwise a really good game, I just really hated the last fight.
I used lvl. 100 squall, i beat him after 45 seconds.
Use any character you want to get leveled up, and equip them with the summon Magic Pot. Fight a lvl. 100 Exdeath with max equipment/abilities. Have your bravery broken, and hit em' with a single Hp attack. Its risky trying this at lvl. 1. You'll get about a 100,00 to 50,000 exp NOT including exp boosters, like bonus day and phoenix feathers. As you level up, the amount of exp you get may lessen. Results may vary.
@XCaliburDragon hell ya. squall is easily my favorite ff character and i love his EX mode finisher. i am currently trying to get to lvl 100. right now i am at 68. chaos is hard as hell though. i just keep going through all the levels prior to chaos and leveling up that way.
helpful hint when taking on Chaos: if you beat him while in EX Mode, dont use the final move to finish him the the first round. any extra XP left in the bar will remain there for the next round. VERY useful in the Colosseum :)
@ash51892 the health doesnt regenerate after each round unless u got an ability equipped like (cant remember name of it) when u use a bravery attack, the extra exp (if u have him up to lv 100) can be generated into HP. at this point, u might want 2 lv up a bit more. i got ALL my characters lv 100 XP

@Ignatauskas 1) His bravery is so high because of his setup. I'll bet he's focussed loads on his Brave instead of other stats, because its impossible to be best at everything. 2) His sword is the Advent Children blade. When you wear Cloud's alternate costume, he gets that instead of the buster sword.
For beating the boss, just a tip, arrange your equipment & accesories to focus on defence & EX force. Then get the Odin summon & let everything out on him last phase, so he can't use his EX Burst :)
f you look at the max HP of both character's. You will notice that Clouds has 9609,nearly maxed out wheras Chaos has(trying to see past the poor quality)5497hp. I believe this gives us a huge indication of the level difference. Cloud is obviously lv100. and Chaos in the 50 or 60's. So of course Cloud defeated Chaos. You should raised Chaos's level on par. Do you think you can still best him? I do not think so

@vileflame1 you aren't suppose to attack him when he transforms you are suppose to dodge and wait for him to get small again that move is a really long HP attack which is fairly easy to dodge if you know what to expect but then again thats the same with all of his moves
@Ilikecake3 Not all of them are. Scarlet rain is blockable. At least until the last one. All his brv attacks are blockable but whether or not you block them is up to you. About what I said before, by defensive, I mean blocking AND dodging.
@nuntapat2005 I think he was relying more on smashing Chaos' attacks away with HP attacks. I'll be honest, Guarding isn't easy against Chaos, but I agree that dodging is vital, even in normal battles.

The fire wave is actually blockable, but it stuns you for a few seconds, and if it's the third fight, you'll get hit by the second and third. However, with Exdeath, he can block all three and counter at ease XD. I'll tell you how good I think you are on your vid.

Hey, would you believe it? When I first read your comment about blocking, I took advice from that & have learnt how to block properly now, although I still dodge more frequently.
this choas is not the big problem, the final lv 110 choas in the last ten star story mode is the craziest one. That one u nid to learn how to dodge his divine punishment and demonsendence well, coz those two hp atks are extremely hard to dodge
@keen1993 Divine Punishment is a trick, I noticed by accident that if you just run to the bottom of the arena, you can move off the glowing circles & instantly dodge.
i finally downed him. but i had to get tidus to master level. but once you get there it's not that difficult. it's really worth it to level up your guy.
beat him with lvl 69 cloud, i had no omnislash ver 5, It's just a matter of not letting him gain bravery to 1 shot ya with those nearly impossible to dodge hp attacks ._. did take 40 tries though
I feel like sort of a noob now, I finally figured out how to activate extra abilities... the speed/dodge boosts are really helpful. I finally beat chaos, and got Cloud to LV 100 (gotta love bonus day, speaking of which... its monday :D)
My Cloud is lvl 100 and I still get pwned. I went as far as the 3rd battle then I got my ass whooped. WHOS FUCKING IDEA WAS THAT. I mean you kill him once then have to fight him again? How many Chaos's are there?
Yeah, it was pretty pointless, when I heard you fight him three times, I thought he was at least going to change forms, but then I just find myself battling the same Chaos, only far more stronger.
I was looking for a guide to fight Chaos, on a tougher level. This fight is easy if you have a lvl 90-100 character, but later on you have to fight Chaos at lvl 110. That's fucked up. Most of his moves seem impossible to dodge, so I was hoping somebody would make a video explaining how the hell it's possible to kill him.
I've figured out how to counter most of his moves, except that Divine punishment thing, The stupid balls follow ya everywhere and then just blow you up X_X That beam of his is simply evaded by dashing to him and slashing him, it has quite a big load time, the fire thing around him i think it was condemn sucks you in it, so just backstep out of it and demondance is all about timing dodge everytime he tele's next to u and tries to hit but that punishment....Never been able to dodge that one
i can't beat this ugly bastard, i get to his second stage and then he brakes my bravery (or however u say it) and then he uses soul of oblivion. i am lvl 56 squall.
And the funny thing is, is that Cloud was Lv.77, he's from FFVII, I finished the battle between 7pm-8pm, I've been playing for 14 days in a row (now 15)=7x2 and it was probably my 7th or 8th attempt.
Yeah, I found that out this morning and Cloud is now a Lv.100, so I should probably train another hero but the next strongest hero I've got is Onion Knight Level...35 hehe.
You unlock the ability to fight him in Quick Battle mode, under the "System" tab in the Player Points Shop. It's been a while since I've unlocked the feature and I cannot recall the price... but it makes for a good opportunity to really test your mettle with your favorite character against a great opponent. ^ ^
All you Cloud fanboys lol, I'm pro Cecil. Chaos is easily setup for combos. Using Cecil just maintain an aerial advantage and as with any fight know how to block/dodge their attacks and you can easily beat Chaos. I'm not saying that he's an easy fight... quite the contrary it's difficult, but everyone's using Cloud I'm merely pointing out ANY character can do this fight.
Truth be told, spamming an HP attack is quite commonplace when you're facing an opponent that's stronger than you. For instance those "Rare Battle Pieces" that spawn in Story mode, they're generally about 7-12 levels above your character when you're playing through for the first or second time (unless you level grind in Quick Battle mode). I mean if I'm pressed by one of those Bartz clones who spam Wind Shear all the time, I'm going to do long ranged HP attacks after a dodge to win the fight.

I'm a grinder, so I used the Lvl 100 ExDeath/Magic Pot leveling to get to Lvl 100 before fighting him.
The battle ended in under 3 minutes.
The Inward Chaos...Chaos...was a different story though, but after some 7 tries I eventually got him with Cloud. OS V5 is a savior.

My Cloud is lvl 100 and I still get pwned. I went as far as the 3rd battle then I got my ass whooped. WHOS FUCKING IDEA WAS THAT. I mean you kill him once then have to fight him again? How many Chaos's are there?

Yeah, it was pretty pointless, when I heard you fight him three times, I thought he was at least going to change forms, but then I just find myself battling the same Chaos, only far more stronger.

I was looking for a guide to fight Chaos, on a tougher level. This fight is easy if you have a lvl 90-100 character, but later on you have to fight Chaos at lvl 110. That's fucked up. Most of his moves seem impossible to dodge, so I was hoping somebody would make a video explaining how the hell it's possible to kill him.

I've figured out how to counter most of his moves, except that Divine punishment thing, The stupid balls follow ya everywhere and then just blow you up X_X That beam of his is simply evaded by dashing to him and slashing him, it has quite a big load time, the fire thing around him i think it was condemn sucks you in it, so just backstep out of it and demondance is all about timing dodge everytime he tele's next to u and tries to hit but that punishment....Never been able to dodge that one

The trick is not to move ^^ Wait those fire balls aroung you firing up 2 times and then evade to the side before the sword come... and done ^^

if you get hit by the fireballs and you dont have full ex gauge then say bye bye
if you have wait till chaos attacks and quickly press ex mode on so you block his hp atack.

Yay! I defeated Chaos last night using Cloud.
And the funny thing is, is that Cloud was Lv.77, he's from FFVII, I finished the battle between 7pm-8pm, I've been playing for 14 days in a row (now 15)=7x2 and it was probably my 7th or 8th attempt.
How lucky is that?

You unlock the ability to fight him in Quick Battle mode, under the "System" tab in the Player Points Shop. It's been a while since I've unlocked the feature and I cannot recall the price... but it makes for a good opportunity to really test your mettle with your favorite character against a great opponent. ^ ^

All you Cloud fanboys lol, I'm pro Cecil. Chaos is easily setup for combos. Using Cecil just maintain an aerial advantage and as with any fight know how to block/dodge their attacks and you can easily beat Chaos. I'm not saying that he's an easy fight... quite the contrary it's difficult, but everyone's using Cloud I'm merely pointing out ANY character can do this fight.

I killed him after about 8 goes with level 57 Terra by spamming Tornado. Not the most skilled method but it was the only way for me to do it. :S

Truth be told, spamming an HP attack is quite commonplace when you're facing an opponent that's stronger than you. For instance those "Rare Battle Pieces" that spawn in Story mode, they're generally about 7-12 levels above your character when you're playing through for the first or second time (unless you level grind in Quick Battle mode). I mean if I'm pressed by one of those Bartz clones who spam Wind Shear all the time, I'm going to do long ranged HP attacks after a dodge to win the fight.
