I very much support a woman's right to choose whether or not to carry through with a pregnancy. Which is way different than going out and murdering children wholesale like the "God" of the Bible did and orders. Such as Ezekiel 9:5-7, Isaiah 13:15-18, 1 Samuel 15:2-3, Hosea 9:11-16, 2 Kings 2:23-24, Exodus 12:29-30, Leviticus 26:21-22, etc. Only a sick mind like this kills not even fetuses, but babies and ORDERS his followers to do the same. The "God" of the Bible is not pro-life. Poor babies.
the best way to prevent pregnancy and STD are ABC, Abstinance no one is denying that not doing it is a great was to not get pregnant or a disease. Being faithful also helps to not get diseases, its one of the best ways, but Contraception also works excellently and NO ONE CAN DENY THAT! so the people who don't want to abstain or are not staying with one partner need contraception otherwise there are either going to be more abortions or more kids that will never be adopted out successfully.
Her left-wing sisters, such as Gloria Steinem, had to selectively overlook this part of Margaret Sanger when they praise her feminist achievements.Ms. Sanger began her career as a nurse and political rebel, acting in association with the International Workers of the World (IWW) and with Emma Goldman, foundress of the American Communist Party. (Ms. Goldman also mentored Roger Baldwin, founder of the American Civil Liberties Union - ACLU)
@HHH100 What exactly is your point? That we shouldn't fund STD checks, health screenings, and affordable birth control because...some dead woman was a communist?
@PenelopeBaden Actually no. These should not be funded, because it is religion based. Atheism is a religion. Do you think we should fund Churches? The problem is government is deciding how to spend OTHER peoples money. This is not the way America was founded. In the end, people will consider government their god. That is when the country collapses. If one does not work, one should not eat. Giving handouts is not compassion, it creates poverty. Look around the world.
@HHH100 "Atheism is a religion." That's incredibly stupid. "If one does not work, one should not eat." So if there's a shortage of jobs, we should just let people die? What a patriot you are. "Giving handouts is not compassion, it creates poverty" Actually, the countries that have the best social programs also have the highest standards of living.
@PenelopeBaden Ever live in Russia? Or how about Greece? So much for Socialism....What country invented, built, and made the most progress in technological advancements ever? Yes America. Why? Because people were given incentive to do better. Profits are a good thing. A rising tide raise ALL ships. You should live in Europe if you think its ways are soooooo great.
@HHH100 "These should not be funded, because it is religion based. Atheism is a religion." This is illogical on a few levels. 1) Atheism isn't a religion. Atheism is just a lack of a belief in God. That does not a religion make. 2) How is PP an atheist organization? Simply because they are a secular organization? If that's the case, then by your logic, nothing can be funded, religious or non-religious.
@PenelopeBaden "Religion" is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe. If you believe there is NO god, that is a religion. It works both ways.
PP is atheist, because they believe murdering an infant that God created is OK because they think there is no God.
Nature fills all voids. There is no such thing as nothing. There is intelligence behind anything created. When man creates a new species or a new tree from basic elements, let me know.....
@HHH100 A lack of a belief in a deity does not equal a belief regarding the cause, nature, or purpose of the universe. Atheists may have all different kinds of beliefs regarding that. It just wouldn't include a belief in a deity. I think you're confusing a theological position with a religion. And PP isn't an "atheist organization" just because they do not subscribe to one of your personal religious beliefs. Not all pro choice people are atheists.
@PenelopeBaden And don't forget, there are plenty of couples looking to adopt children. It is very simple NOT to get pregnant. You just need a brain. Eugenics is not necessary. It just turns into genocide when a dictatorship decides certain people should be exterminated. Ask any jewish survivor of 1938 Germany.
@HHH100 Most children around the world who are unwanted by their parents are not adopted. And if your child is not white, or at risk for being born with a health problem, then their chances of being adopted are significantly lower. It's dishonest to insinuate that adoption is an option for every child. It clearly isn't.
@HHH100 Also, you're using the term Eugenics incorrectly. Eugenics is the "applied science or the bio-social movement which advocates the use of practices aimed at improving the genetic composition of a population." People don't have abortions to "improve the genetic composition of a population."
It's not like we're underpopulated, so the public has no possible right to order pregnant women around. It's their body and their life for Christ's sake!
"The most merciful thing that a family does to one of its infant members is to kill it." a quote from Margaret Sanger, who is the founder of Planned Parenthood, and Planned Parenthood continues her vile schemes - Planned Parenthood continues to kill children and maim women... The truth is coming out -
@pbjis4me thats a lie. Only 3% of Planned Parenthoods activities are related to abortions. So yeah the truth is coming out. Your fabricated version of it. You only point out to faults of one member of Planned Parenthood but make the sweeping generalization that all of its employees share the same opinion. That is a logical fallacy. Despite what you and your ilk may think, Planned Parenthood actually helps women. But you spread lies and for that you are beneath contempt.
@turtlelackie so what about rape and incest? What about genetic defects that will kill the fetus upon birth, very painfully I might add??? Let me guess, let the baby suffer because that's what God wants? Don't force your "religion" on my body. You have a really warped view of reality.
@roxierage if you believe that there is a God, then you would know he is the Author of Life, and NO ONE has the right to take away innocent life - Basic biology: Life begins at conception. If a woman has a right to choose to kill her own child, why doesn't she have a right to kill the child when she is 5 years old? It is the same person is it not? Should we have a right to kill our 13 year old if she develops luekemia? your reasoning is flawed.
Republicans hate abortion because they know that more teenage mothers means more poverty in the U.S., and with more poverty in the U.S., the upper class gets richer and richer. This is what they want: a larger gap between the rich and the poor. And they are certainly getting it right now with this recession. They are loving every minute of it.
@turtlelackie Well, the republicans have you fooled. They don't give a crap about God. All they care about is their money and taking money away from others. The "God" argument is just a clever reason used to gain support from people like you.
Okay people. Politics piss me off too much to talk about so I am just going to say this. I AM SICK OF LIBERALS AND CONSERVATIVES. Who do I have to kill to get a moderate in office???????
If you call removing an infection of your lifeline DNA of your ancestors and a spirit of a child an infection. Abortions will continue to go down cause now women are seeing with their own eyes scans of their babies and the lies of the murderers at Planned Parenthood fall to the ground. Most of your figures are lies and you have not researched them and if you know the truth you will lie cause you depend on moneyt for your opinion. You will know the truth when you breath your last breath by God
your facts are bogus because Planned Parenthood does most of the abortions. It is all about money and nothing about money. If you call a Planned Parenthood Clinic and try to get mamograms they will tell you most of the time that they do not do that in their clinic. 87% of all abortions are done for convenience sake. This jerk is a mouthpiece for a lucrative hell hole.
@chingaters Yes -- like removing an infection is done to make your life easier. Or sleep aids to help you sleep. I see no problem in abortions performed under 21 weeks, even less of a problem if it's before 12 weeks (which 90% of abortions are done at). Planned Parenthood does a lot of references -- which is their expertise and they happen to perform abortions. Abortions are actually staying at the same rate which is to say that they've been decreasing abortions per 1,000.
The 1988 -1995 California Politicians with NO SHAME, cutting healthcare, cutting pension, cutting school funds at CSU. Then INCREASING taxes for alcohol rehab, illegal drug rehab, planned parenthood 1 week after. That term "trust me your under 21".
This guy is either a liar or a fool. Perhaps he is both. Margret Sanger was indeed a racist who wanted to exterminate African Americans. All of this is very well documented for anyone who cares to take an honest look.
Yeah, "Plant Parenthood" is evil and kills babies? Planned Parenthood's mission is to prevent teen pregnancy but with ignorant jerks running around preaching abstinence and disregarding contraception of course unwanted pregnancies are going to occur. If you want to stop abortions, education is the answer. FACT: ABORTIONS ARE LEGAL IN THE UNITED STATES AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO JUDGE
Are you retarded, stupid, moronic..............elitest, libbertard, over educated idiot? then you will love this video........this moron can`t even dress himself LOLOLOL
Well... I think he was just a bit too confident in what he was saying. An opportunity to truly prove his opponent wrong apparently. Just a little excited?
Love the fact that republicans fight to "protect" the unborn child, but as soon as it's born the apparently don't give a crap - just take the fact the voted AGAINST health care for CHILDREN!
Kids are fine as long as they haven't been born yet!
I'm tired of this, all the lies, all the pandering, all the crass and harmful language said BY MEN who could never EVER understand what it is like to be pregnant EVER. The time for fairytales is OVER. The choice should never be taken, and NO MAN should ever tell a woman what she can and cannot do, with her own fucking body. Fuck you pro birth scum. Until you've walked a mile, you'll never understand, soon women will out number men.. Then we'll see WHAT choices we women allow you MEN to have!
@EternalxAutumn Well, I'm a woman. I was a teen mom. Pretty sure I fit into your category of understanding right? I don't give a damn what women do with their bodies, its the little body inside them that concerns me. Abortion is murder for convienience. Period.
@EternalxAutumn My that was spoken by a true lady. It isn't about your body it is about the baby's body. And you didn't get pregnant on your own so don't tell men they don't have the right to object to their child being murdered.
Planned Parenthood one of the best organizations in America? Since when did Americans recognize an organization that kills unborn Americans "one of the best"? The Republicans were doing an honorable thing in an unhonorable way here. When we look at Federal spending we need to consider what is says about the morals of our country as a guest on TYT has said. So the real debate is, should the U.S. provide funds to organizations that offer abortion services on moral grounds?
@ninetysevenecho I think we're done here then. I was being adult like and you decided to be a child and resort to name calling. I don't discuss adult things with children.
The eugenics stuff is true. More black babies killed in abortion-lie.The majority are White. Most blacks in America are Pro life. Republicans are so out of touch with the black community they should know that. They data reported to the
government show more black women because at a facility like PP has to report this data. White females go to the hospital, not clinics. They hide it as a "D & C" or "general OB procedure" and pay with cash or insurance.
A human being orn ot, the question is when can the life of "a human being" be terminated.
America is the number one western country to be good at terminating people's life in a structuralist sense of acceptance so I guess after abortions, public health will increase like here in Europe where smoking has been prohibited in many areas to protect the smoker, those around them and if it's a woman, ofc it's faetus.
Gimp, moron, dipshit. Haha is that your usual reaction to being questioned? Rofl.
A human zygote? Scientists aren't here to decide politics, and politicians aren't here to intrude in science. Do you call it a human or not? It's two cells. How many cells does it take to be a human?
Why not forbid women to smoke because that hurts way more than abortions worldwide every year, why not ban executions too.
@turtlelackie Why draw the line at conception? Why not draw the line with the eggs? The egg is a cell. It can be a person someday. Every woman who has a menstrual cycle should be charged with murder!!
@KoachKrab127 Your rationalization is lacking logic; You eat chicken eggs? Not all chicken eggs are fertilized; it is when the egg is fertilized that a life exists - same with human beings - Once life begins, any action to destroy that life is murder. If Planned Parenthood was truly interested in helping women, it would do more to support women who decide that abortion is not an option.
@pbjis4me "It is when the egg is fertilized that a life exists." So you believe. That's not what the law says. Saying life begins at conception is a slippery slope leading to "life begins at menstruation." That was my point. Abortion is legal to protect the rights of women. The government would rather protect women's rights than the rights of unborn cells. Also, in response to your quote about Planned Parenthood, so would republicans, but they are against govt. helping those women.
@KoachKrab127 you are perhaps the most unintelligent person I have seen on here. You fit the textbook definition of misogynist. With your logic a woman who has a miscarriage (which is a horrible ordeal for any woman to go through) or has ovarian cancer should be criminally prosecuted. Normally I try to keep a level head and not respond rashly to idiots like but for you I shall make an exception: You will burn in hell with those beliefs, you fucking evil bastard.
@TheManMostMysterious LOL. Your sarcasm detector is obviously broken. Read my other posts in here. Of course I do not believe that women who have periods should be charged with murder. That's ridiculous. I'm saying people who believe that life begins at conception are on a slippery slope to saying that menstrual cycles are murder. That was my point. And there is one crazy GOP representative that thinks women who have miscarriages should be charged with murder. TYT reported this before.
@KoachKrab127 Guess I've learned my lesson. Well apparently you and I seem to be in agreement on the issue so at least we are on the same page now. (In my defense though, sarcasm can be slightly difficult to pick up on within text)
@TheManMostMysterious Both georgia House Bill 1 and Utah House Bill 12 throw the burden of proof on women to show that miscarriages are not the result of human causes. It reverses the presumption of innocence that is guaranteed to all defendants in all other types of criminal investigations. In effect, it outlaws miscarriage.
@trooface I'm aware of those and those are not the only two states to pass or support that kind of legislation. I find the people supporting such laws absolutely sickening and beneath contempt.
@trooface I have an idea as to why: Because the people passing these come from the far religious right and they still want to live in the 1700s. They can't understand that times change and social norms say but they resist it by waving their Bible's around saying its God's decision not ours. As a believer in God I find this attitude medieval, backwards, and ultimately dangerous.
@TheManMostMysterious Fortunately, our fringe religionists don't have that much clout in Canada.
I hear the ant-choicers have gone on a "Conceived in Rape" tour in support of the Mississippi amendment granting full personhood to fetuses. Their message is that birthing a child conceived in rape is better than abortion. I think this campaign will backfire. What do you think?
@trooface In Canada it wouldn't. The problem is that these people aren't considered fringe religionists here. The account for the largest religious group in the country and our government supports them by making them tax exempt. I consider myself patriotic but in this case I find this act by our government despicable. So unfortunately this will probably gain a lot of support. I live in Alabama and I'm fearful that they may try that here, if they do I will be in opposition.
Do I know you? It seems you randomly popped up with Tourette's syndrome on Youtube, new experiment?
Google spellings on faetus if you want. I don't care what the Republicans say, that's like going to nazis asking which race is superior. Politicians aren't scientists and neither is the Pope. Science does not say when life begins, it just objectively observes factual processes of life.
Rofl faetus is quite a correct term for it, sad that you have to rage for being wrong.
Secondly, I talked about the Pope, do you think he cares about science classes? religious people like him and the Republicans have always denounced science and repalced it with Biblical bullshit.
Legal life begins when you are born, abortion has been around for hudnreds of years and America is the only western country to have such a staunch opposition towards it, ofc religious.
This country is ruined. Unless you're wealthy, you can't get a decent education. Its harder and harder to make a decent living unless you are an investor. Our infrastructure is failing. Now, we're gonna remove the means of maternity health for millions of women. Creating deep economic inequalities is going to stifle economic growth. Gah, why are people so stupid!?!?!?!
Just another misogynist preaching about how he want's to control women. You Sr. are disgusting and serve no purpose to the public forum. Please be seated.
A sperm cell is not a fertilized egg cell that is in the process of becoming a human being. Under your logic, it would be ok to abort a fetus, a child in the making, because it is not yet a human being. What defines a human being? Something thats come out of the womb? Under that logic, a fetus in its third trimester is still not a human being. So then it should be ok to abort, right? Well, at that point it IS a human being, and can survive outside of the womb. cont.
-__- What defines a human being? God? Yea that's veeery logical. Typical right-öwing logic to turn to God whenever rationality eludes them. I am against abortion after the third trimester but I am clearly for the choice of the individual woman to decide herself, not have the government decide for her, until then.
And if it is life-threatening, ofc she must have every support she can to survive.
Did i mention anything about God? No, I didn't. Typical left-wingers trying to dismiss an argument because they think it is cultivated by religion rather than by relative morality. I am against abortion in most cases, because in most cases the woman deems the child an inconvenience. If there is incest, rape, or danger to the womans own life, then sure, abortion may be acceptable.
Religion is ultimately dervied from and intimately connected to cultural norms and creates relative morality which I also have so it's not that I dismiss that in particular.
And sure can as well be disgusted by pure convenience abortions, but I am also sickened by women smoking and consuming alcohol etc.
But under your logic it would be ok to abort it, because it hasn't been born. One its born, it still has the same physical, genetic, and chemical makeup that it had when it was in the womb. So under your logic it would be just fine to kill the baby.
But under your logic it would be ok to abort it, because it hasn't been born. One its born, it still has the same physical, genetic, and chemical makeup that it had when it was in the womb. So under your logic it would be just fine to kill the baby.
@ninetysevenecho It is their body that has to carry the fertilized egg, then the cells, then the fetus, for 9 months. First of all, if she was raped, daddy slipped into bed one night (sick as it sounds, it does happen), or whatever, she should not be forced by the government to carry it to term if she doesn't want to. It's a continuous assault on her body and therefore, she has a right to end it correct?
and my moral code says that i should not bring a child into a world in which i can not provide for it. i cant promise that I'm going to wait til marriage to have sex. for me, that is an unrealistic ideal that only few can or even want to accomplish. i can promise that i will use birth control. which is one of planned parenthood's services. planned parenthood: thank you so very much not only with how you have helped me but how you have helped families everywhere
Anytime you have sex you should realize pregnancy is a possibility. Perhaps you shouldn't have sex if you're not prepared to deal with the outcome. If I get a girl pregnant I have to deal with my responsibilities and child support and all that crap.
@pennjersey83 Anytime you get in a car you should realize that a car accident is a possibility. Perhaps you shouldn't get in a car if you're not prepared to deal with the outcome.
i understand not wanting to pay for someone stupid teenager's mistake. i would say that is justified. but that give you no reason to attack planned parenthood. even if you think abortion is wrong, you have no right to choose for me. we all have the unalienable right to the pursuit of happiness. taking away my right to an abortion will take away that unalienable right. america has a broad range of cultures and religions and moral codes. please let me live by mine
"even if you think abortion is wrong, you have no right to choose for me"
Nope! sorry you're wrong. I have every right to prevent you from taking a life. Just because the life hasnt come out of your vagina yet doesnt mean its not a life. A fetus is living and its cells are dividing just like any other creature. You can spread your legs all you want, but when you try to kill the living being inside your body we have the right to object. Its not about you.
really? because you seem to be making it about me. I'm a virgin thank you very much. and i dont believe that a fetus alive until it has a fully functioning heart and brain. so to me, if an abortion is done early enough, it is not murder. you have the right to object and think im a bad person because of it but remember that god gave us free will and this is a country that is very proud of its freedom. making abortion illegal would simply take away my right to choose a legal and
not ok. Sex isnt just for the sake of making children and i dont intend to wait til marriage to have sex. That being said, it will be with someone i love and i will use protection. the protection i get will probably be from planned parenthood. my right to choose continues after i have orgasmed. mmmkay?
Hey slut. After you have orgasmed, try not killing the baby inside you. I know you're only about pleasing yourself young child, but try not to kill the baby after your orgasm...Bye now fucking slut
like i said, im a virgin. and just because i intend to have sex before i get married does NOT make me a slut. and I'm not about pleasing myself. I'm about sharing an amazing experience with the person i will love.there is no need for language here especially when you are talking to "a child." I certainly hope you dont talk to your kids that way or if i were your kids i would have wished to have been aborted. an abortion kills simply cells until a certain point in time.mybodymylife
Typical liberal cry baby. You liberals are always looking for protections. If you can't handle the language maybe mommy and daddy should have parental locks on YouTube. Fuck you...bye
I'm not being a cry baby and I'm not a liberal. I'm simply an american. aren't you the one trying to protect cells that you have no business protecting? perhaps you should understand that people have different beliefs than you and you shouldnt impose yours on others.i can handle the language. i just think you're portraying yourself in a rude and immature manner. clearly you have no manners. maybe you should actually make a strong mature argument so you dont look like a damn fool?
Listen young girl, nobody cares if you kill cells after you get pregnant. However, we don't want you killing a baby with functional organs if you get pregnant. A lot of women think it's their body so they should be able to kill whatever is inside them. I think we should prevent the killing of babies. And as I stated, your right to choose starts before you open your legs. I just don't understand people who think the way you do.
I have already stated that im not a fan of aborting after there is evident brain and heart function unless its an emergency. there's no reason to be patronizing. it really is, however their body. i feel i have no right to choose to choose someone else's future for them. I would rather have a girl get an abortion than for her to not go to college. it is far more important to me that the right to the pursuit of happiness for those that have experienced life be preserved than
life for those who have never experienced it. Granted, i do not expect anyone to pay for someone else's mistakes but i expect that in a country as wonderful as america that all the options available would be open. People are going to have sex even if they aren't married. end of story. you just cant keep it from happening. i personally, dont find anything wrong with it as long as it is with someone they love. yes, there are risks. that is why contraception and birth control should
be taught. not just abstinence. my right to choose starts before my legs are even open. it starts when i talk to a doctor (like at planned parenthood) about getting birth control pills and condoms and ends when i die. of course even with birth control there are still risks. a woman should not be forced to carry a child because the condom broke or the birth control failed or she was never taught how to use contraception. and she should never have to carry a child b/c she was raped
@pennjersey83 Wait, so you have a right to interfere in my life and tell me if I can abort MY child but I can't interfere in your life and say you shouldn't own a gun that can potentially kill YOUR child?
Republicans are extremely hypocritical.
Its an unborn baby and if people should be able to make a conscious (and very difficult) decision to abort a pregnancy to save the life of a mother, avoid bringing kids up in bad homes, and other reasons. Unless you want more welfare given out, stfu.
"Wait, so you have a right to interfere in my life and tell me if I can abort MY child but I can't interfere in your life and say you shouldn't own a gun that can potentially kill YOUR child?"
Killing your child and POTENTIALLY killing your child is a different thing. Besides, owning a gun is a constitutionally protected right. Killing your child is not.
@pennjersey83 Owning a gun is a constitutionally protected right but controlling guns is not. Although we have the right to bear arms, it is ultimately up to the government to interpret how that happens...which is why gun control is obviously important.
And the difference between potentially and actuality isn't the point. You're being hypocritical if you infringe on a persons right to abort but don't want to infringe on your right to own a gun (which can be equally dangerous).
@1037pm actually its not up to the government, if the Founders left the rights of the people up to the government they wouldn't have bothered even writing the Bill of Rights because the government is after only it's own power and of course they seek to control guns because guns in the hands of the people is the most dangerous thing to a tyrannical government.
guns in the hands of people id the most dangerous thing to anyone. the people who speak the truth and use their words are the most dangerous thing to a tyrannical government. consider reading machiavelli
@tartxraspberriesxvix and Machiavelli are giving ideas for a STRONG government, not a weak limited government that ours is about and the Founders knew was necessary to work for real freedom to persist.
Machiavelli had ideas for all kinds of government. yes, many of them were for stronger governments but still much of what he says applies to the United states and other limited governments.
@Americansoldier11x Err no, the government seeks to control guns because guns in the hands of humans (esp idiots) leads to death and destruction and thus is dangerous.
The constitution protects guns which is why you have access to one however it should also be a woman's right to have a safe abortion because it is her kid, and right now that is what we have. Just like gays marrying, they should have that right...if the govt doesnt want to fund, so be it, but don't infringe on the right.
"a woman should not be forced to carry a child because the condom broke or the birth control failed"
Ummm... Nope.... that's life sweeti. Just because your brith control fails doesn't give you the right to kill the child inside of you. If the condom breaks, I still have to pay child support for the rest of my life when the woman gives birth. There are consequences in life sweeti. And your right to choose starts before you open your legs. Deal with the consequences.
dont call me sweetie (THAT is how you spell it). and you have no right to ruin a woman's life. an abortion is a way to deal with the situation. its not like its over after the abortion. she has to live with her decision for the rest of her life. this is not a decision to be made lightly. no decent woman gets an abortion with out taking a great deal of thought about it before hand. and if thats what she feels is right FOR HER then there is no way i would stop her.
and you first said that my right to choose starts when i open my legs. i said that my right to choose starts long before i open my legs by taking birth control. those are MY WORDS not yours. dont act like you came up with it yourself. and not yet have you made a decent argument. you just keep repeating yourself. just because my birth control fails does not mean i should have to throw my life down the toilet.
But you know, this is what I think is the most controversial part about abortion how how I and my family personally think about it. If your family is well enough, have the money to support a baby and there is no reason to abort it other than you don't want it, then no, I don't think they should be allowed to abort unless rape or abuse is involved.
On the other hand, if one is on the opposite side of the financial matter, parents on the verge of being homeless, no stable income, and just the mentality that will only lead to child abuse and death, wouldn't it be better to let the child not have to experience such pain? I would rather if you KNOW you can't truly support that baby, and I mean its needs, like food, water, a place to stay and grow healthy, then you don't need a child.
The child is only going to suffer. Then their child will suffer as well. And so continues the trail of abuser after abuser and poverty after poverty here in America.
That is the only reason why I support abortion somewhat. Most people of course know the consequences of sex. But they are always going to do it anyway.I myself have been preached abstinence is the only way to 'be safe' and I've followed that. And it's true, never have I had sex, never have I ever had any problems.
But then again, I am considered weird for my generation, for which I blame the media *as always* But I just don't fit in. And I don't want to. But other people like me, who I am sure learned exactly what I did when I was young. Not only abstinence is the way, but also contraceptives and everything. But they still take the dangerous route anyway. It's just.... how the world is. I can't say it's human instincts to what to have sex, though it might as well be.
This has turned into a bunch of rambles... but my main point is, I believe, and only believe if the child is 'destined' to be thrown into a terrible life by their parents and everyone around them to continue to the chain of poor abused/poor children, then let them have an abortion. Before they even have to experience such suffering.
@kirabook most children would rather live a hard childhood and later have the chance to make something of themselves that be killed by their own mothers. I Had a horrible childhood that it hurts to look back on but I trust in God and i know it was all for a purpose, It made me the person I as today
Well, as one of the children that has lived a hard childhood, though luckily not a necessarily bad, I would have gladly advised my own mother to abort me. For her benefit and mine.
@kirabook Most people would rather have a hard childhood then try to make something of themselves than be killed by their parents. I had a absolutely horrible childhood that it hurts to look back on, but I trust in God and I know it was all for a purpose. It made me who I am today.
@pennjersey83 American law says people in your country can. CAN. It's the LAW. I live in a country where it's illegal, which is irrelevant to me because I'd never need one. But it's not my place to tell people what they can and cannot do. It's the laws. And your law says they CAN.
what is criminal about not having a baby until you are ready and capable of affording it and giving it everything it needs? People are going to have sex. condoms are going to break. and unless we educate our teenagers about safe sex teenagers are going to get pregnant and be forced to make a difficult choice. if it were me, that would be an abortion. That is my choice and it is my choice to make alone. I live in america and i demand to be free.
Hows aborting nothing but babies "or fetuses" be doing nothing but "Great stuff?"
Planned Parenthood was founded by Margret Sanger, a Fabian Socialist birth control feminist who advocated for the abolishment of help for the poor, and aggressive sterilization . Thats a fact.
no that is not a fact. she was feminist (what wrong with being a feminist? i happen to a woman and enjoy being one and i demand to have every right that a man does. i can even pee standing up :) who educated people about sex and birth control (therefore making the necessity of abortions less vital). she may have had a few socialist ideas but so does the constitution (all men created equal...). no where in all of my research and readings have i found any such idea that she was for
@tartxraspberriesxvix Actually that is a fact, and she claimed to be a feminist, but was actually just a far right wing eugenicist who attended KKK meetings and believed that poor people and blacks needed to abort their children so to maintain racial hygiene, and eliminate the underclasses. I guess if you support her, you support aborting black and poor babies.
the abolishment of help for the poor or aggressive sterilization. if you happen to have any actuall/ factual/supported by those who study such topics proof of such occurances i will be shocked (and please dont give me something that is clearly biased. I'm a very well educated person and can tell when the truth is being twisted) . Margaret (that is how you spell her name by the way) Sanger simply wanted women to understand their bodies and have the option of having kids when ready
@tartxraspberriesxvix Oh alright, actually what i stated it sourced, and even on her wikipedia. Planned Parenthood was founded by a women who openly advocated for racial hygiene and forced sterilization of undesirables. She's pretty blantant when she says abortion clinics need to be set for poor people, Negroes, and immigrants. She only believed in abortion because she though it would help purify the race to abort unwanted babies.

Haussofluv 4 days ago
the best way to prevent pregnancy and STD are ABC, Abstinance no one is denying that not doing it is a great was to not get pregnant or a disease.

Exposing the fascist thinking of Margaret Sanger.
HHH100 1 month ago
@HHH100 What exactly is your point? That we shouldn't fund STD checks, health screenings, and affordable birth control because...some dead woman was a communist?
PenelopeBaden 3 weeks ago
@PenelopeBaden Actually no. These should not be funded, because it is religion based. Atheism is a religion. Do you think we should fund Churches? The problem is government is deciding how to spend OTHER peoples money. This is not the way America was founded. In the end, people will consider government their god. That is when the country collapses. If one does not work, one should not eat. Giving handouts is not compassion, it creates poverty. Look around the world.
HHH100 2 weeks ago
@HHH100 "Atheism is a religion." That's incredibly stupid. "If one does not work, one should not eat." So if there's a shortage of jobs, we should just let people die? What a patriot you are. "Giving handouts is not compassion, it creates poverty" Actually, the countries that have the best social programs also have the highest standards of living.
PenelopeBaden 2 weeks ago
@PenelopeBaden Ever live in Russia? Or how about Greece? So much for Socialism....What country invented, built, and made the most progress in technological advancements ever? Yes America. Why? Because people were given incentive to do better. Profits are a good thing. A rising tide raise ALL ships. You should live in Europe if you think its ways are soooooo great.
HHH100 2 weeks ago
@HHH100 "These should not be funded, because it is religion based. Atheism is a religion." This is illogical on a few levels. 1) Atheism isn't a religion. Atheism is just a lack of a belief in God. That does not a religion make. 2) How is PP an atheist organization? Simply because they are a secular organization? If that's the case, then by your logic, nothing can be funded, religious or non-religious.
PenelopeBaden 2 weeks ago
@PenelopeBaden "Religion" is a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature, and purpose of the universe. If you believe there is NO god, that is a religion. It works both ways.
PP is atheist, because they believe murdering an infant that God created is OK because they think there is no God.
Nature fills all voids. There is no such thing as nothing. There is intelligence behind anything created. When man creates a new species or a new tree from basic elements, let me know.....
HHH100 2 weeks ago
@HHH100 A lack of a belief in a deity does not equal a belief regarding the cause, nature, or purpose of the universe. Atheists may have all different kinds of beliefs regarding that. It just wouldn't include a belief in a deity. I think you're confusing a theological position with a religion. And PP isn't an "atheist organization" just because they do not subscribe to one of your personal religious beliefs. Not all pro choice people are atheists.
PenelopeBaden 2 weeks ago
@PenelopeBaden And don't forget, there are plenty of couples looking to adopt children. It is very simple NOT to get pregnant. You just need a brain. Eugenics is not necessary. It just turns into genocide when a dictatorship decides certain people should be exterminated. Ask any jewish survivor of 1938 Germany.
HHH100 2 weeks ago
@HHH100 Most children around the world who are unwanted by their parents are not adopted. And if your child is not white, or at risk for being born with a health problem, then their chances of being adopted are significantly lower. It's dishonest to insinuate that adoption is an option for every child. It clearly isn't.
PenelopeBaden 2 weeks ago
@HHH100 Also, you're using the term Eugenics incorrectly. Eugenics is the "applied science or the bio-social movement which advocates the use of practices aimed at improving the genetic composition of a population." People don't have abortions to "improve the genetic composition of a population."

They are loving every minute of it.

chingaters 10 months ago
your facts are bogus because Planned Parenthood does most of the abortions. It is all about money and nothing about money. If you call a Planned Parenthood Clinic and try to get mamograms they will tell you most of the time that they do not do that in their clinic. 87% of all abortions are done for convenience sake. This jerk is a mouthpiece for a lucrative hell hole.
chingaters 10 months ago
@chingaters Yes -- like removing an infection is done to make your life easier. Or sleep aids to help you sleep. I see no problem in abortions performed under 21 weeks, even less of a problem if it's before 12 weeks (which 90% of abortions are done at). Planned Parenthood does a lot of references -- which is their expertise and they happen to perform abortions. Abortions are actually staying at the same rate which is to say that they've been decreasing abortions per 1,000.

A human being orn ot, the question is when can the life of "a human being" be terminated.
America is the number one western country to be good at terminating people's life in a structuralist sense of acceptance so I guess after abortions, public health will increase like here in Europe where smoking has been prohibited in many areas to protect the smoker, those around them and if it's a woman, ofc it's faetus.
underbjorn 1 year ago
@ninetysevenecho ---
Gimp, moron, dipshit.

@KoachKrab127 those are only the building blocks of life, a fetus is a living being with it's own genetic code
turtlelackie 8 months ago
@KoachKrab127 Your rationalization is lacking logic; You eat chicken eggs? Not all chicken eggs are fertilized; it is when the egg is fertilized that a life exists - same with human beings - Once life begins, any action to destroy that life is murder. If Planned Parenthood was truly interested in helping women, it would do more to support women who decide that abortion is not an option.
pbjis4me 7 months ago
@pbjis4me "It is when the egg is fertilized that a life exists." So you believe. That's not what the law says. Saying life begins at conception is a slippery slope leading to "life begins at menstruation." That was my point. Abortion is legal to protect the rights of women. The government would rather protect women's rights than the rights of unborn cells. Also, in response to your quote about Planned Parenthood, so would republicans, but they are against govt. helping those women.
KoachKrab127 7 months ago
@KoachKrab127 you are perhaps the most unintelligent person I have seen on here. You fit the textbook definition of misogynist. @TheManMostMysterious LOL. Your sarcasm detector is obviously broken. Read my other posts in here. Of course I do not believe that women who have periods should be charged with murder.

TheManMostMysterious 7 months ago
@TheManMostMysterious I'm Canadian. I have difficulty understanding how they can so blatantly overthrow the presumption of innocence.
trooface 7 months ago
@trooface I have an idea as to why: Because the people passing these come from the far religious right and they still want to live in the 1700s. They can't understand that times change and social norms say but they resist it by waving their Bible's around saying its God's decision not ours. As a believer in God I find this attitude medieval, backwards, and ultimately dangerous.
TheManMostMysterious 7 months ago
@TheManMostMysterious Fortunately, our fringe religionists don't have that much clout in Canada.
I hear the ant-choicers have gone on a "Conceived in Rape" tour in support of the Mississippi amendment granting full personhood to fetuses. Their message is that birthing a child conceived in rape is better than abortion. I think this campaign will backfire. What do you think?
trooface 7 months ago
@trooface In Canada it wouldn't. The problem is that these people aren't considered fringe religionists here. The account for the largest religious group in the country and our government supports them by making them tax exempt. I consider myself patriotic but in this case I find this act by our government despicable. So unfortunately this will probably gain a lot of support. I live in Alabama and I'm fearful that they may try that here, if they do I will be in opposition.

Well, at that point it IS a human being, and can survive outside of the womb. cont.
Hewhosmokeswomen 1 year ago
@Hewhosmokeswomen ---
-__- What defines a human being? God? Yea that's veeery logical. Typical right-öwing logic to turn to God whenever rationality eludes them. I am against abortion after the third trimester but I am clearly for the choice of the individual woman to decide herself, not have the government decide for her, until then.
And if it is life-threatening, ofc she must have every support she can to survive.
underbjorn 1 year ago
@underbjorn
Did i mention anything about God? No, I didn't. Typical left-wingers trying to dismiss an argument because they think it is cultivated by religion rather than by relative morality. If there is incest, rape, or danger to the womans own life, then sure, abortion may be acceptable.
Hewhosmokeswomen 1 year ago
@Hewhosmokeswomen ---
Religion is ultimately dervied from and intimately connected to cultural norms and creates relative morality which I also have so it's not that I dismiss that in particular.
And sure can as well be disgusted by pure convenience abortions, but I am also sickened by women smoking and consuming alcohol etc.

Anytime you have sex you should realize pregnancy is a possibility. Perhaps you shouldn't have sex if you're not prepared to deal with the outcome. If I get a girl pregnant I have to deal with my responsibilities and child support and all that crap.

i understand not wanting to pay for someone stupid teenager's mistake. i would say that is justified. but that give you no reason to attack planned parenthood. even if you think abortion is wrong, you have no right to choose for me. we all have the unalienable right to the pursuit of happiness. taking away my right to an abortion will take away that unalienable right. america has a broad range of cultures and religions and moral codes. please let me live by mine

I'm not being a cry baby and I'm not a liberal. I'm simply an american. aren't you the one trying to protect cells that you have no business protecting? perhaps you should understand that people have different beliefs than you and you shouldnt impose yours on others.i can handle the language. i just think you're portraying yourself in a rude and immature manner. clearly you have no manners. maybe you should actually make a strong mature argument so you dont look like a damn fool?
tartxraspberriesxvix 1 year ago
@tartxraspberriesxvix

Killing your child is not.
pennjersey83 1 year ago
@pennjersey83 Owning a gun is a constitutionally protected right but controlling guns is not. Although we have the right to bear arms, it is ultimately up to the government to interpret how that happens...which is why gun control is obviously important.
And the difference between potentially and actuality isn't the point. You're being hypocritical if you infringe on a persons right to abort but don't want to infringe on your right to own a gun (which can be equally dangerous).
1037pm 1 year ago
@1037pm actually its not up to the government, if the Founders left the rights of the people up to the government they wouldn't have bothered even writing the Bill of Rights because the government is after only it's own power and of course they seek to control guns because guns in the hands of the people is the most dangerous thing to a tyrannical government.
Americansoldier11x 1 year ago
@Americansoldier11x
guns in the hands of people id the most dangerous thing to anyone. the people who speak the truth and use their words are the most dangerous thing to a tyrannical government. consider reading machiavelli

@tartxraspberriesxvix and Machiavelli are giving ideas for a STRONG government, not a weak limited government that ours is about and the Founders knew was necessary to work for real freedom to persist.
Americansoldier11x 1 year ago
@Americansoldier11x
Machiavelli had ideas for all kinds of government. yes, many of them were for stronger governments but still much of what he says applies to the United states and other limited governments.
tartxraspberriesxvix 1 year ago

Deal with the consequences.
pennjersey83 1 year ago
@pennjersey83
dont call me sweetie (THAT is how you spell it). and you have no right to ruin a woman's life. an abortion is a way to deal with the situation. its not like its over after the abortion. she has to live with her decision for the rest of her life. this is not a decision to be made lightly. no decent woman gets an abortion with out taking a great deal of thought about it before hand. and if thats what she feels is right FOR HER then there is no way i would stop her.
tartxraspberriesxvix 1 year ago
@pennjersey83
and you first said that my right to choose starts when i open my legs. i said that my right to choose starts long before i open my legs by taking birth control. those are MY WORDS not yours. dont act like you came up with it yourself. and not yet have you made a decent argument. you just keep repeating yourself. just because my birth control fails does not mean i should have to throw my life down the toilet.

I would rather if you KNOW you can't truly support that baby, and I mean its needs, like food, water, a place to stay and grow healthy, then you don't need a child.
kirabook 11 months ago
@pennjersey83
And it's true, never have I had sex, never have I ever had any problems.
kirabook 11 months ago
@pennjersey83
I can't say it's human instincts to what to have sex, though it might as well be.
kirabook 11 months ago
@pennjersey83

SunBeamsan 1 year ago
@SunBeamsan
no that is not a fact. she was feminist (what wrong with being a feminist? i happen to a woman and enjoy being one and i demand to have every right that a man does. i can even pee standing up :) who educated people about sex and birth control (therefore making the necessity of abortions less vital). she may have had a few socialist ideas but so does the constitution (all men created equal...). no where in all of my research and readings have i found any such idea that she was for
tartxraspberriesxvix 1 year ago
@tartxraspberriesxvix Actually that is a fact, and she claimed to be a feminist, but was actually just a far right wing eugenicist who attended KKK meetings and believed that poor people and blacks needed to abort their children so to maintain racial hygiene, and eliminate the underclasses. I guess if you support her, you support aborting black and poor babies.
SunBeamsan 1 year ago
@SunBeamsan
the abolishment of help for the poor or aggressive sterilization. if you happen to have any actuall/ factual/supported by those who study such topics proof of such occurances i will be shocked (and please dont give me something that is clearly biased. I'm a very well educated person and can tell when the truth is being twisted) . Margaret (that is how you spell her name by the way) Sanger simply wanted women to understand their bodies and have the option of having kids when ready
tartxraspberriesxvix 1 year ago
@tartxraspberriesxvix Oh alright, actually what i stated it sourced, and even on her wikipedia. Planned Parenthood was founded by a women who openly advocated for racial hygiene and forced sterilization of undesirables. She's pretty blantant when she says abortion clinics need to be set for poor people, Negroes, and immigrants. She only believed in abortion because she though it would help purify the race to abort unwanted babies.
