@CodenameJD No... American portions are pretty consistent with other countries... its just we order more than we need!!! A happy meal is like 4 Chicken Nuggets, around 5 or 6 apple slices (small ones), small milk (or soda, orange juice... i think)... and a toy... which i don't recommend eating... haha anyway.. and I know some kids who get the hamburger and only eat half. What scares me when a 6 year old wants an Angus combo and eats all of it... now that's shameful!!!!

McDonalds is one of the places I got fries at as a kid. It wasn't so terribly long in to that when they started frying in beef flavouring, ruling them out as an option. Eventually, I just decided to cut grease out entirely and it was no longer an issue. It's really hard to be unbias about it since I'm vegan. I can't really say that once a week won't hurt someone, but I'm not one to get all preachy. Corporation doesn't matter to me, really. Food would do the same from anywhere else.

I don't eat at McDonalds anymore mostly because a friend told me about their behind the scenes operations when he worked there. Once in a while I will get nuggets (with SnS sauce cause it rocks!), but that's it. Mostly I eat at jack in the box when I go for fast food.

I only eat their salads. A man ordered a cheese burger, and fries from Mcdonalds only to take a picture of it every day for a year. Their was no sign of rotting, or decay on either the fries or burger, and not much noticeable difference when day 1, and day 365 are juxtaposed . To many preservatives =/.

It's funny that some of their ranch dressing has upwards of 1000 calories. The dressing alone contains more calories than entire meals.

@TasteRasengan And don't start me up on mc nuggets. A few years back it was nothing but meat paste drenched in ammonia, artificial flavoring, and bleach for the whitening effect. Mcdonalds eventually switched to just using the excess parts of the chicken(organs ect).

I eat mcdonalds once out twice a week, usually for breakfast. I love the $1 sausage burrito. For lunch I would get a hot n spicy mcchiken. However I stop by daily for a large powerade no ice. Most mcds in the houston area do the $1 any size drink all year round

Most people can't afford or have time for other options. I don't think people should look down on McDonald's or people who go there. Its really bullshit i watched a counter documentary that would point to mcdonalds actually being healthier then what most people eat out of the microwave...Mcdonalds is so good but i stay away from it because its addicting, and ill start to crave it the next day. I like burger king but they never get the right order and their meat tastes artificial and it never satisfies me, mcdonalds on the other hand is very satisfying.
