The Common Communion based upon 'One Holy and Catholic Church' is the ROOT of ALL Christian Denominations.....eg 'Cathode' which is source starting from the ancient Church and not Rome....not Catholic Church....my error in not explaining how the NICENE CREED is applied..'We believe in One Holy Catholic and Apostlic Church.' Origin of Church and 'Laying upon Hands' in Apostolic sucession is common to all Christians.

I love Eastern Rites.....I'm Episcopalian....I know Orthodox well! My moms last request for memorial was Episcopal 'Rite One' with chanting, bells and incense....few attending understood. May we....Orthodox and ECUSA be united in faith and service 4EVER!!!!

People told me not to serve as Lay minister in the memorial service. One of my railroad buddies told me to serve least regrets...I'd regret service for the rest of my life and was right....I read the lessons and served Communion.
