One Hot Minute is one of the best Chili Peppers albums. Totally dissed by the people who worship John in a lavish way. Californication is a masterpiece & my personal favorite, but that does not take merit from One Hot Minute in my eyes. Such a shame to throw away songs like Coffee house, My friends, One Big Mob, Walkabout, Tearjerker, Falling into grace & Aeroplane, Frusciante could have nailed those numbers & took them to another level but I guess it was a matter of starting with a clean slade.

@00KillTheLights00 - Flea told the Japanese interviewer that he was going to tell a joke when Anthony started acting like a pop star on stage in order to take all the attention away from him. Frusciante doesn't like being a star and doesn't like the attention and so gets a kick out of it. Kiedis and Frusciante are kind of opposites regarding their need for attention.

I mean that he kind of bashes OHM and that annoys me considering he says he only has heard the hits off the album meaning 4 or 5 songs. He needs to listen to the entire album before judging it and deciding not to play it. I think a good handful of songs are his style so I think that is BS but 1 or 2 songs like aeroplane and warped or coffee shop per show is all I would ask.
