TwinTs94RT you can not run 16 pounds of boost per turbo on a 3000gt with the stock 9b's they peak out safely at 16 pounds together but you can spike 18 on mid range rpms but they will always drop to 12 to 14 pounds at topend. you get a set of 15g turbos atleast 450cc injectors turbo back exhaust either a stand alone or piggy back fuel mangement and run 20 psi total boost and you should be able to hit around 450 awhp or less

lol do u actually think talon stock vs vr4 stock would come out winner out of this... if so you should really inform yourself on 3000gts and stealths cuz u really sound stupid posting this....and also i just wanted to precise that talon and 3000gt are REALLY NOT in the same category u just put 4''turbo-back, switch the y-pipe and boost the twins at 16 each on the stealth or 3000gt and you get a supercar with more or less 450 awhp so even if u wanted to make a talon faster it would take a lot mor

@dimitrya1234 which vr4? galant vr4 or 3000gt vr4?? if you are saying the 3000gt is better drive in one.. the stock turbos are too small and the gears are too long. they are quick but each gear takes like 5 minutes and ultimately kills its stock capabilities

@hotrodhendrix i know why it would have long gears, and for gas mileage its great, but i think a little shorter ratio and these would have been even more fun to drive. the 9bs are so small.. dual 16gs equals one hell of a setup.. then the long gears arent as long hehe

@mustangjunkie10 Mine has the 6speed and larger wheels so the gearing is really long. High top speed and at 60mph shes at 1.5k rpm. : )

I love all of the DSM's (I know im gonna catch shit from people saying 3000gt's and stealth's are DSM's but w/e) v6 tt or 4 banger with a turbo. Add fuckin AWD to a turbo'd car, it fuckin rips! I love it! DSM 4 LYFE!

Yes but they did make parts for Mitsu for other cars. I lived in the area for most of my life and know several people who worked at the factory at the time. That is why some people call them DSMs. Sorry for replying to such a old comment btw.

He's not saying the car is stock just it's using the stock turbo and stock engine. This car has bolt ons. Meaning intake exhaust boost controller and chip ( hence stutter box). And to the guy saying stock turbo dsms run 14-15s your talking about ALL STOCK DSM. There are many many many stock turbo dsms in the 12s and few in the 11s and there is one freak of a dsm in the 10's

stock turbo dsms usually run anywhere from low mid 14s to low 15s depending on driver vrs 4 in the low 13s lol ... yea all ive owned is dsms but my dream car is a vr4 i mitsus rule!

Excellent launch, but who won? 14b's ARE to be respected, and they rock on a 3kgt (can do 25psi). But IMHO no way a stock talon kills a 3000gt vr4. On the other hand, if the talon is modded... well, the story might be different. No disrespect meant. It's just I have a VR4.

my friends dad has a vr4 and my friend has a 90 eclipse gst and he beat his dad in the quarter mile, the vr4 was running 16 psi, (twin turbo), and the eclipse was running 20 psi both stock turbos with exhaust
