I thought Lacus was just a mediator between PLANTS and ORB? It does not say that she is chairman - chair"woman" LOL. She is in the Supreme Council. Plus, when PLANTS and ORB finally reached an agreement, Cagalli and a council member (not Lacus but that means all of the members should have been there) shook hands. So, it is so confusing.

So. if anyone paid attention in the series. Kira started out as an ensign(I think). then went rogue. end of GS.

GSD starts.

Kira gets back into Freedom and everyone from the Archangel comes back. BUT. they are all wearing Orb uniforms. I assume they are unofficial Orb soldiers? anyways. 1/2 way thru GSD, Kira wears a Commander uniform. then near the end, he is wearing an Orb Admiral. when they became officially apart of the 2nd Orb fleet.. now he's a Zaft white coat.. man he blew thru ranks.

@unclejj2 actually, in gundam seed he also joined ORB, remember? he helped defend it with athrun and diearka. as for gundam seed destiny, when the archangel launches they fight ORB and are a rouge ship until cagili takes control agian. they then rejoin ORB and face ZAFT. after they win and Lacus is put in charge of the PLANTS kira joins her and works with shin in his own special team. athrun goes with Cagali and Joins ORB. not sure about the archangel tho.
