The way Chuck delivers that opening vocal line, "Go against the ways and experience pain..." against that riff backdrop is just so menacing...also chill out with the backlash against Neidhardt84's comment - dude was basically saying compared to the later Death albums the guitar work on this album is dare I say...primitive haha. He said the album was evil and that Chuck became an amazing guitarist later, not "Chuck sucks and this album sucks too", for crying out loud...

I always find when listening to this song carefully that drum beats seem to go out of time eventually. Love that mind trick.

@Neidhardt84 In my opinion its about the riff and good songs, be it simple and headbanging to turkey gobbling jack off sessions on a fret board. Keep in mind that 23 years later this album stands the test of time. Besides even if you think it "sucks" from a musicians point of view I can guarantee this album has changed more lives and influenced more bands than your music will.I think if you have to title yourself a musician your a tool that plays guitar center call waiting music and not original
