Graffiti... one of the forms of expression/art/sports not linked to making money... and not understood by many people, yet it's all around us. Nice! This however, is not graffiti.
Graffiti is fucking goofy and a waste of time. I so thoroughly hate that city living has made life so easy that some people have nothing to do more than go around doing quaint shit like this with their time. He should spend his time creating something useful and beautiful, not taking photos of his shitty duct tape amongst ruins of buildings. UGLY AS FUCK.
ignorant folks are always telling artists what they should do like there's some global golden rule about what is clever, thought provoking and pretty. It's not your fault though, you're not an artist. You don't know that the drive to do something grand creative and new comes from doing exactly what you want without limitations. Private property is just a fence around an idea, and jumping fences is how artists, real artists, get ahead.
Artsy fag? Wow, what century are you living in. All this guy is doing is expressing himself and has every right to. Its fuckheads like all you and the rest of the haters who contribute nothing to culture and I'd be surprised if you contributed anything to society. You are also the same people that once an artist breaks out, you wear their shirts and try walk around like a douche thinking you're hot shit. Get a fucking life!
That's like saying every graffitist has the right to fuck up public areas and shops owned by people, you're an idiot. People like this DO NOT have the right to express them self, because their expressioning messes up peoples property.

No. This guy is just another "artsy' fag who thinks it justifies vandalism. It's annoying as hell and hes like "EENGH ITS ART HURR DURR IT MAEKS THINGS BOOTIFUL"
to ShityThe Pirate, InsideLoAngeles, and hoppuspears all 3 of ya'll are a bunch of straight hating ass tools. just because you cant do something doesnt mean you need to hate on osmeone else because of what they can do. if you dont like this or tagging at all than dont watch the video you friggn idiots.
this guy tho is real i would have never thought aabout duct tape before thats thinking outside the box. probably cheaper than the cans i by 2
This was at the top of Digg, only reason I watched it, when someone tags your car, or your home, or fu**s with anything you'll own, you'll start to understand, by that I mean, when you actually grow the fu** up and own your own place, vehicle, etc.

What a dick. This is still going on peoples property and messing with it, and on top of that, it's still littering, so it's still illegal, so what's the point? It just looks even lamer than NORMAL spray painting and is still "almost" as illegal, due to the heavy amount of littering. Tool.
if someone caught this guy spraying , they would probably arrest him , if someone caught banks they would probably ask him for his autograph and let him finish.
i dont think theres such a thing as actual art, different strokes for different folks, some people may consider this more valuable than banksys stuff because of the method
@thrive93 ART IS ART, NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS, IF YOUR INTEGRITY WAS TO BE YOUR EXPRESSION AND INTEGRITY THEN IT IS ART, WHATEVER WHOEVER SAYS WHAT IS TOY OR ANYTHING, ART IS ART, FROM TEH SIMPLEST LINE TO THE MOST COMPLEX IMAGERY
pretty sure the police could still get for 'public disturbance' or even 'littering' if they wanted - tape might be less permanent, but you can still be made to clean it up, which just seems depressing.
I've seen his work on the Wooster a bunch of times but I've never read, or seen an interview with Buff Diss. Masking tape is a strange medium, but I suppose that loophole helps him get around a lot of legal issues. The illegality of street art might hold a lot of people back from creating it. This is one way of getting around those issues.
was this shot in San Francisco at hunters point? that silo thing in the background looks a lot like the one on Amador St. off of Cargo Way
