  • like the style simple but complex very nice thanks for sharing

    -aj $t0

  • THIS IS CREATIVE!

  • i dont think ive ever been so relaxed listening to someone talk about what they love

  • Impressive.

  • ah this guy is da bomb, wish i had thot of that idea first.... :]

  • the verb of graffiti is graffiti. not graffitise.

    just so you know

  • i love how he didn't even watch the video and commented.

  • @bummers actually, i invited people over to do that. i loved it.

  • Very cool

  • 'Buff Diss'?

  • Police here would probably consider that littering.

  • Graffiti... one of the forms of expression/art/sports not linked to making money... and not understood by many people, yet it's all around us. Nice! This however, is not graffiti.

  • Does anybody else find it hilarious that someone with the screen name of "ShityThePirate" is telling others to grow up?

  • @DaveLendl Sounds like bliss to me..

  • ignorant folks are always telling artists what they should do like there's some global golden rule about what is clever, thought provoking and pretty. It's not your fault though, you're not an artist. You don't know that the drive to do something grand creative and new comes from doing exactly what you want without limitations. Private property is just a fence around an idea, and jumping fences is how artists, real artists, get ahead.

  • thank you sir for the great advice. :D

  • Artsy fag? Wow, what century are you living in. All this guy is doing is expressing himself and has every right to. Its fuckheads like all you and the rest of the haters who contribute nothing to culture and I'd be surprised if you contributed anything to society. You are also the same people that once an artist breaks out, you wear their shirts and try walk around like a douche thinking you're hot shit. Get a fucking life!

  • That's like saying every graffitist has the right to fuck up public areas and shops owned by people, you're an idiot. People like this DO NOT have the right to express them self, because their expressioning messes up peoples property.

  • moss, reverse, light these things i get

this precocious dork is the reason i dont want to be called an "artist"

  • to ShityThe Pirate, InsideLoAngeles, and hoppuspears all 3 of ya'll are a bunch of straight hating ass tools. just because you cant do something doesnt mean you need to hate on osmeone else because of what they can do. if you dont like this or tagging at all than dont watch the video you friggn idiots.

this guy tho is real i would have never thought aabout duct tape before thats thinking outside the box. probably cheaper than the cans i by 2

  • This was at the top of Digg, only reason I watched it, when someone tags your car, or your home, or fu**s with anything you'll own, you'll start to understand, by that I mean, when you actually grow the fu** up and own your own place, vehicle, etc.

  • If you hate it so much why are you even on this thread or better yet, watching?

  • lol i think the tape will be more of a bitch to remove than paint.

  • respect!

    peace from melbourne

  • lol, such a close minded view.

  • this vid has changed my opinion on graffiti, i thought they were all vandals

  • Attention seeking without the balls of Banksy?

  • if someone caught this guy spraying , they would probably arrest him , if someone caught banks they would probably ask him for his autograph and let him finish.

  • the problem is - they wouldn't know if he is banksy ;-)

  • Banksy's graffiti is more like actual art. He's talented and adds value.

  • i dont think theres such a thing as actual art, different strokes for different folks, some people may consider this more valuable than banksys stuff because of the method

  • @thrive93 ART IS ART, NO MATTER WHAT ANYONE THINKS, IF YOUR INTEGRITY WAS TO BE YOUR EXPRESSION AND INTEGRITY THEN IT IS ART, WHATEVER WHOEVER SAYS WHAT IS TOY OR ANYTHING, ART IS ART, FROM TEH SIMPLEST LINE TO THE MOST COMPLEX IMAGERY

  • @czaghost

OK THATS NOT WHAT I SAID REWORDED AT ALL

  • @czaghost

OK THATS NOT WHAT I SAID REWORDED AT ALL

  • art isnt about attention seeking...

  • pretty sure the police could still get for 'public disturbance' or even 'littering' if they wanted - tape might be less permanent, but you can still be made to clean it up, which just seems depressing.

  • great stuff, but too bad the way he writes the S in Diss reminds me of nazi SS

  • what an awesome video...

  • in Los Angeles even writing something on a dusty window is can be considered a felony graffiti crime. sad. this stuff is awesome.

  • IS CAN BE

  • This is pretty impressive. Very talented guy.

  • punk rock.

  • but a incredible canvas to others.... cool shit

  • sooop buffdiss!? good listenin. come again to the south...

  • Excellent.

  • he has his own style.

  • =looking forward to trespassing=

  • I've seen his work on the Wooster a bunch of times but I've never read, or seen an interview with Buff Diss. Masking tape is a strange medium, but I suppose that loophole helps him get around a lot of legal issues. The illegality of street art might hold a lot of people back from creating it. This is one way of getting around those issues.

  • i dont know if i love or hate him and i think thats exactly what he wants

  • BuffDiss is the bomb.

Fantastic work and a fantastic interview here.

    Thanks UP
