Didn't you pay attention when Edward & his family/brothers, (all cuties), had to teach the wolves how to fight the bad baby Vampires so the wouldn't hurt themselves or get killed? The Vamps have the serious fighting skills and taught the wolves how to fight a vamp so they would survive. And who didn't listen well? Jacob, got hurt. The wolves did well, kicking butt next to the friendly vamps who were also kicking serious butt! Major fight in the book.
