  • And to think that I like this video

  • thanks this helped alot with my science project

  • An impressive presentation. Nice job! I have 3-D glasses, which I tried on for that one image. It really gave the craters a lot of depth.

  • Respond to this video... Are you a professer! If not you should be ! Your teaching skills are wonderfull !

  • For all the craters we can see on the surfaces of solar system neighbors, a map of Earth just showing locations and size of known or suspected impact craters would be startling to look at.

Has anyone ever mapped the surface of the Earth in this way? Showing only known or suspected impact craters? I'm talking to you, scientists.

  • called tubular bells nice music!:)

  • I am enjoying it all a lot. Facts, graphics and music. Thank you very much!

  • Interesting facts! Thank you very much and keep up the good work.

  • ~♥~brilliant creation! I very much enjoyed watching this amazing video & learned something new :)-(; Jupiter's beloved waterman Ganymede...Thank you so much for making & sharing this fabulous video*^o^*<3 it~♡~

  • OUTSTANDING JOB! I LOVE ASTRONOMY! KEEP IT UP! Astronomy & Science fans LOVE THESE! =D

I HAD my 3-D glasses, but my family members are rude, & through my important stuff out. Anyways, NASA should send a Probe there ASAP! A telescope would be great too, for better images of the Solar System! It's a shame that the Communication Dish on the Jovian Space Satellite NASA sent to Jupiter about 10 years ago didn't open all the way! =(

  • ganymede and titan yes sir ive been around

  • You really have a gift for putting together video's. did you go through any school or training?

  • @sunniski No, just seem to be ok at it. :O) All the best.

  • Thimbs up for these Amazing Images. Thanks !

  • All of these are so beautiful and well put together! And for once, have information that I haven't heard a thousand times! I'm in love!

  • Super video, AggMan. Your enthusiasm for Ganymede is infectious! :-)

  • '

what is the name of spacecraft going outer space and tok pictures of jupiter / moons

  • I dun want to watch everything all at once, one a day or i wont absorb the information

  • i like this video very informative for those asronomy geeks out there like me

  • I think there is life there trying to contact us. Humans like us.

  • @nyhero2012 me too

  • Ganymede: Benevolent Human Extraterrestrial Artificial Planetoid/ Spacecraft.

  • What is the material from 3:56 to 4:08 in that canyon? Is it frozen, or...

And why could it be ... ??

  • I was there!

  • anyone notice that the biggest moon (Granymede) orbits the Biggest Planet (Jupiter) and the 2nd biggest moon (Titan) orbits the 2nd biggest planet (Saturn). Also our moon is the 5th biggest moon and it orbits the 5th biggest planet,Earth. Talk about ironic

  • Intelligent Intentional Design.

  • man i wish i could go to other planets and moons and just walk on them for one second. Just to see, and also come back alive and well. It would just be awesome man !!

  • Lol one second? Freeze time and everything except yourself, then go to these celestial objects for however long you want. When you're satisfied and you've returned to Earth, resume time lol!

  • uhhh indian lyrics, never expected it thought it was some sort of house stuff

  • awesome vid' bro' 5 stars for sure !

    peace out !

  • dont you guys think it is rather strange that you see at 3:29 a lot of the craters have another one directly in the middle little suspicious

  • @TalkSic666: That's is part of the crater. it's formed by rests of whatever impacted, only seen on rather yough craters (1 million years and younger)

  • @TalkSic666

its what happens when a meteor hits, the whole area becomes molten and a bit is thrown up and comes back down to make that second crater. think of a drop of water landing in a larger body of water, that little bit is thrown up, its the same sort of thing.

  • @TalkSic666,

Yeah, look into "plasma arcing", "electric universe" and "arcing erosin", these features are not the result of impacts, but are evidence of electric currents and arcing.

  • Top quality! What program did you use to make it?

  • Awesome, 5 stars!! Thank you

  • No, thank you! I insist! :O) All the best!

  • at 2:07 it says that they are never on the same side, but through my telescope you can see them on all on one side at some times and sometimes they are split up, or is it talking about different moons

  • Maybe you are mistaking Europa? Only Io, Ganymede, and Callisto can line up on the same side of Jupiter.

  • Well I don't know which is which, but I know on several occasions I have seen 4 on 1 side, or maybe thats just the perspective from here?

  • correct, you can only see 3 of the 4 Galilean moons at 1 time

  • @wiggarigga I swear I seen the four of them lined up to the left side of Jupiter just a couple days back. Of course the one top right looked a good size, maybe it was just the 3 and 1 of the irregulars to the left? I saw 6 moons in total, which was pretty amazing seeing I was using binoculars. Helps to live in the country.

  • Jupiter will be at it's closest to Earth this month, Sept. 22nd.

  • @mrgionni Does that mean i missed it? I still need to get myself a telescope :( By the way mars is also coming at its closest on december the 30st. It will look like another moon people telle me. And this will only happen once in our life time ;o

  • I should be alive when the colonization of Jovian moons happen. I would love to live inside glass domes.

  • The heat received from the Sun was only about a twenty-fifth of that received on the surface of the Earth, and this was drawn to the cities and collected and preserved under their glass domes by a number of devices which displayed superhuman intelligence. The dwindling supplies of water were hoarded in vast subterranean reservoirs and by means of a perfect system of redistillation the priceless fluid was used over and over again both for for irrigating the land within the cities.

  • 2040 we will send robots to build bases there ( probably mars and the moon first tho )

  • Excelente trabalho!

  • Thank you very much for watching and leaving the great comment! :O) All the best!

  • Thanks for uploading all your vid's. I'm an avid star gazer and these are wonderfully put together, informative and the younger crowd will get a quick and concise insight into our amazing little solar system. I would love to be around when they probe the depths of the ice moons for potential life but alas if one is old enough to know and appreciate Mike Oldfields music, the likelyhood is diminishing rapidly, lol.

    Keep up the great work

  • Thank you very much for watching and leaving the kind and great comment! :O) All the best!

  • im too lazy too read lol but the pics and videos really nice

  • You enjoyed it, and thats good enough for me! :O)

  • Great video, and amazing photos! The best video I've ever seen about this moon.

  • Thats great! Many thanks for watching! All the best! :O)

  • is this u job? very professional vids :}

  • No it's not, i work on weather stations. I have been into all things space for the last 30 years though. :O) Thanks for the great comment!

  • is there any chance when jupiter has alot of moons some moons could hit themselves ? ooo and again nice vid 5 strats :)

  • Not anymore really, it would take a collision from a large body to hit one of the moons, knocking it out of its normal orbit. Though there are still moons that NASA has not discovered around Jupiter, so who knows. :O)

  • I've found you 'late in time' (IF that is really possible, AggManUK!) ... The film is beautiful! I'm getting into Jupiter now as it is so clearly visible over the sea now in Sitges, where I live. I am going to try and find your email address as I want to comment on an extremely beautiful UFO sighting I was fortunate to have seen one night over the sea many years ago one night. To my amazement it was seen zig-zagging all over Catalonia and was reported the next day in all the media circles!

  • Many thanks for watching! Just click on send message on my page if you want to mail me. Sounds like a very interesting experiance. All the best! :O)

  • Why no video on Callisto? You did such a great job on the other three Galilean moons of Jupiter. We need Callisto!

  • A lack of time. :O( Simple as that. :O)

  • wouldnt like to live their

  • A bit chilly! :O)

  • The inhabitants of Ganymede lived in cities built under crystal domes. Ganymede receives only about a twenty-fifth of the solar energy received by Earth, and this was drawn to the cities and collected and preserved under their crystal domes by a number of devices which displayed superhuman intelligence. The water under the crust was drawn to the surface and used over and over again by redistillation. Now however Ganymede has passed its final phase and lapsed into the icy silence of death.

  • Icy death! Great! Then everything you have spoken about will have survived and still be visible on the surface. Especially the crystal domes! I am looking closely at some pictures right now and... Oh... wait... no.. nothing. Who would have though? :O)

  • anyway all these videos are so good,

I always wanted to see such representations of these objects..

these are very informative. thanks a lot :)

  • Thank you very much for watching and leaving the great comment! :O) All the best!

  • oo.. the song titles are in Hindi, gr8..

how do you find that music? do you know Hindi?

  • No i dont :O) I think google/youtube just translates it for you. :O)

  • Dude,,, you should TOTALLY cange your name to "Hey, look at me! I'll help you with your astronomy project!" That would so work:P

  • LOL, thats one heck of a mouthful though! You can just imagine it... "Hey, have you seen 'Hey, look at me! I'll help you with your astronomy projects' youtube page?" LOL Cheers for the great comment! All the best! :O)

  • Im doing a project for school about callisto, it would help if you did a video on it anyway great video

  • It is one i plan to do when i have time, so it could be quite a while before i do it. :O( Sorry about that and good luck with your project!!! :O)

  • Thanks for subscribing!

Nemesis 'Death Star' is a very interesting theory to say the least, but It needs proof now, or to be forgotten.

Then again, to quote Carl Sagan...

"There is another Sun in the sky, a Demon Sun that we cannot see. Long ago, even before great-grandmother's time, the Demon Sun attacked our Sun.

Comets fell, and a terrible winter overtook the Earth. Almost all life was destroyed.

The Demon Sun has attacked many times before. It will attack again."

  • I think this might be Nibiru? Or is Nibiru a star or a planet? Could it be possible that our sun is a binary system with another star whose orbit takes a very long time to cross? Wow I learn new things from your comments everyday...all the best! ^_^

  • Nibiru hey? Well i have heard so many different ideas on this that it makes my head spin! I can't wait for 2013 so people will finally stop going on about it. It is possible that we could be a binary system as these are very common in the universe, but there are others like our own. Still... Can you imagine the size of the orbit though! I really doubt it. Bring on 2013! :O)

  • Aparently 2012 is when I'll be in 12th grade and will graduate..what a coincidence. Now it's 2009 and I'm in 9th grade.

  • Very nice! I am SO subscribing to your channel!

That said, what are your views on the theoretical sister star Nemesis to our Sol?

  • At 3:36 there's a phallic drawing on Ganimede?!

  • LOL, i think you mean 3:43. Your right though! :O)

  • Interesting, one of my favorite moons along with MOON, Europa, Titan, Enceladus and Triton...you should do a video of one of Uranus' moon like Oberon but if there is not enough info on any of Uranus' moon, that's ok...

  • @sharinganx12

    our moon is called Lunar

  • @Jip4head Awesome this was 11 months ago? Man time flys by...

  • Another amazing vid, 5*, keep making another vid, Hopefully we already move to another star system before you running out of stuff to show us here in our solar system.

  • Thanks for watching and the great comment! All the best! :O)

  • What if jupiter used to be a sun? It has almost the same chemical somposition as the sun, apart from heavy particles, resulting in jupiter not having a great enough mass for it to collapse on itself and chemicaly react. What if it once did have these heavy particles but something happened? Correct me if I'm wrong about all of this, but I'm really intrested in hearing more about your opinions on this suggestive idea. Its surrounded moons appear to be frozen.. Due to the "sun" jupiter going out?

  • Its an interesting theory, but i dont think Jupiter was ever a Sun. Though it did come very close! It has been found that most Solar Systems are binary, with two Suns. It seems that Jupiter is our Sun that never quite made it. As you pointed out, it was a lack of mass that stopped it. The reason the moons are frozen is their makeup, their distance from the Sun and their lack of a thick atmosphere to trap heat in. Thanks for the very interesting comment! All the best! :O)

  • The last image made me wonder if Jupiter once used to be a sun or something that provided heat for its satelites. Probebly not even worth mentioning, but I did wonder...

  • couldn't amagin the different moons, and worlds that have sercome to jupiter's grav,

    "Jupiter"The destroyer of worlds!!!

  • It is the destroyer, but it is also the giver of life and is one of the reasons life exsits on Earth. Many thanks for watching and the great comment! All the best! :O)

  • These pics are great drawings! They're drawings b/c we know no craft was ever sent anywhere, and that NASA, JPL, Hubble, any and all "missions" to planets - they're all hoaxes. Even radio and TV is a hoax, what we see if a figment of our imagination. You can't send signals through the air!!!

  • Many thanks and Well Done for the weirdest comment left on my channel!!! :O) You might want to rethink it though as it has no solid ground to stand on. So you cant send signals through the air then? I guess we are all Deaf then, and the sound waves that enter our ears travelling through the air are hoaxs made by? I guess u can answer that for me. Mmmm I am guessing you watch the Matrix a little too much. Shame really. Its a wonderful universe out there. :O) Thanks for watching! :O)

  • "You can't send signals through the air!!!"

I guess that you never played with walkie-talkies when you were a kid...

  • :[ when are you going to make another video? I'm really really eager~

  • Hi my friend. Will be a while as i am finding it hard to find the time right now. :O( As soon as i finish one, i will send it your way. :O) All the best!

  • pity, I have no 3 D Glasses ,would have liked to try it out with that pic -again I can only say excellent work, you did a great job ,I enjoyed watching your video- greetings :)))

  • Thank you once again for watching! I wish i had some 3D glasses to see if it works ok! LOL I don't know how it looks. :O) All the best! :O)

  • It's very nice.

  • Many thanks for watching! :O)

  • Excellent video! I would like to see more attention placed on exploring the moons of Jupiter. WIth the recent discovery of methane on mars, It's not so far fetched to think that life of some form could exist on-or within Ganymede, or Europa.

    Keep up the good work!

  • Thanks for the great comment! I would do anything to see a mission to Europa in my lifetime. I am sure some form of life will be found there. I don't think it will be long before we find something on Mars too. Either alive or a fossil. Thanks again, all the best! :O)

  • This very good but my English not so 5*

  • Hello to you in Finland! Thank you very much for watching! :O) The company i work for is based in Helsinki, Finland. :O)

  • :D Hello again, my dear friend! may i ask for a preview on what you are going to do next, or do you still not know? because i have a suggestion if you don't! :O

  • Hello again! Hope your well? :O) I have 3 videos is the make right now, but i am not sure which one to complete first as i am not finding much time. :O( I think the next might be a tribute to the Mars rovers, as that one is the most complete so far. We will see. Feel free to share you idea though! :O) Nice to hear from you again, all the best! :O)

  • Excelente, muy bueno

  • ...As a Young Lad in High School... I had by choise a "science fiction " class... One book I read was about mining ganymede , or such, :)... This vid brought this menory back... :) .. Now if only I can remenber the author and title, Oh well... appreciate your TIME and EFFORT, I Really Wish I could Impress upon you just how MUCH that I do... Osborne....

  • You have no need to impress upon me my friend as your comment says it all. I am so glad you get as much pleasure from these as i do. Thank you so much for watching and taking the time to leave such wonderful comments. :O) By the way, was the book 'Farmer in the Sky', by Robert Heinlein? I think that was about mining on Ganymede. :O)

  • ....Yes, I do beleive that was the book... Thanks a million... Now I just wonder if I have it boxed up somewhere... Great memory you got there... :)

  • Many many many thanks!!! :o)

  • Once again never dissapointed but educated.

ill be dissapointed if u ever run out things in the solar sytem to show us.

    Just brilliant !

  • Thank you my friend! I still have a few ideas, so there will be more to come. :O) Thanks again!

  • Thanks for that amazing video AggManUK

  • Thank you very much for watching my friend! :O)

  • The music reminds me a lot of his other song "Tubular Bells". This video has some of the neatest animations and footage in your films yet. Very impressive and as always informative.

  • Cheers Jason! All the best mate! :O)

  • Dear friend,

really thanks for each your video,

I agree with Dave, your approach to the subject matter is creative and holds one's interest nicely. Very nice video..since I am a teacher Iappreicate good

    methodology. Great job!

    Joyce

  • Thank you so much Joyce! Coming from a teacher, i take that as a wonderful compliment. They started off just for my son Sol, but since people really liked them i just kept making more and more. I am happy to say that at 4 years of age, Sol not only loves these videos, he knows the names of all the planets, a scary amount of moons and the planets they orbit. Thanks again, i really do appreciate it. :O) All the best to you!

  • It looks like their has been life forms making patterns on the moons surface in places.

  • You never know!!! :O) Many thanks for watching and the great comment! :O)

  • You are like a class in school. If it was presented this way I would have done better. lol

Great video . I really become smarter after watching your great work.

    Dave.

  • Thank you so much for the wonderful comment Dave! Your a star! All the best my friend! :O)

  • Very cool. I thought Io, Titian, and some of the other larger moons had Magnetospheres as well. They are large enough aren't they? Hmmm... Still very cool.

One suggestion though, you might want to outline the white text in black so it'll show up better on lighter backgrounds as well as dark since the colors on these shift so much. Just a thought.

  • Hi, thanks for the comment! Titan interacts with the surrounding plasma environment, forming an induced magnetosphere. Meaning it has no magnetic field. Io, does more or less the same but with Jupiters huge magnetosphere. However, Ganymede has its own because of it's iron core, though i have to say it is very tiny. This does however make it the only moon with one. :O)

Sorry about the text, i have tried many variations, but black or white seem to work the best. :O( Thanks again! :O)

  • I like Mike Oldfield music and your wonderfull video too.

You will always estonish me my friend.

    74LOU

  • Thank you! Your very kind. :O) All the best.

  • If Ganymede orbited the Sun, it would be considered a planet. The reason is that is the largest moon in the Solar System, it is larger than planet Mercury and... xplanet Pluto.Another great vid, thank you

  • It would indeed. :O) Many thanks for the great comment!!! :O)

  • brilliant stuff you produce! And the music fits in perfectly!

  • Cheers Rob! All the best! :O)

  • Video molto interessante e fantastica musica..

  • Thank you very much! :O)

  • Thanks once again Agg for producing a Highly informative creation combined with the music source which is as Egnigmatic as the core subject! Another Great Job Mate!

  • Thank you my good friend!!! All the best to you! :O)

  • Your very kind, thanks very much, it means a lot to me. :O)

  • It's nice. I wish we could explore other galaxies and travel there.

  • I couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching! :O)

  • Agreed with Artmaniac 53. Thank you very much 5*****
