Robert de Visee might be the greatest ever French Composer. Better than Gonoud, Berlioz, Satie etc. What other French composers from this period are worth listening to? Can anyone help me out here?
@CharlesDickens99 Lully is a good place to start. Marin Marais is also good. Marais composed alot of pieces for viol, kind of in the style of de Visee.
