@erydiam The rise of miltant Islam is no differnt than what the church did in the middle ages even though the church reformed they never said they was wrong in the way the way they persucuted people when they swept across Europe. The church used the black plague to hammer home the thougt in the common people this is the end of the world and you must convert or the plague will not stop. It was the beleif in science that stopped the plague. Almost all the major conflicts in the world invove Islam
