Another cool trick to try to make things go slow on Tiger is to press Shift-Esc to get out of Front Row. It doesn't work that well in Leopard because it just fades in and out, not revolves.
So let me get this straight, the new OS has folders (because thats what stacks are) that open more slowly and can only be placed along the bottom row of the screen? Is that an upgrade?
now that is what I call an upgrade, not like how in Vista they made it look cooler and then took away the menu bar from the top so it will look more like OS X. I wanted Vista to be good, but I will stay with XP and my Ubuntu until macs hardware is cheaper

It opens slowly when you hold Shift when clicking it. You can also do this trick when minimizing a window, etc.

Macs are actually not more expensive if you compare MacBook Pro and PC laptops with similar configuration.
Plus, it can run all OSes.
