Super Mario Galaxy: Purple Coins in the Bone Pen

Thnx i was stumped on this until i found your video. I was moving too slow, died a few times like that getting to a max of 90 while running out of time. Then i did what you did and just kept clicking the things to get around quicker, went straight through the middle then around the edge, then back to the middle to get the last ~10 i needed. This worked out because unlike in your video i was directly in the middle and could easily get to the star. Thnx again.

oh so it just like the purple comet on gusty garden galaxy you need to get 100 purple coins but there more than 100 purple coins laying out around the bone pen you just need to collect 100 and get the star

You have to have 105 stars and then you must defeat final boss. Afterwards it´ll come for sure.

I had the same problems with everyone else: I got all the 100 required, then the stupid bone stuff made me run out of time. Yeah, you got lucky there when you almost died...world record is 0:18 left if anyone's interested.

Heres what the order of hardness of the purple coins in my opinion:

1-This one

2-Luigis purple coins

3-dreadnaught galaxy

4-battlerock

I fucking hate that star. I've already done it once, and now I'm trying to do it again as Luigi. It's trying to make it to the star without flying all over the place that kills me.

No, it has been proven that you in fact can not get all the coins and the star.

You can however, get the coins without the star.

Some of the stages (NOT LUIGIS PURPLE COINS,that was one of the easiest)made me want to pull my hair out.But I eventually reached 242stars.39 hours and 7 minutes of my life on this masterpiece

That comet challange is really hard

Just keep at it. Don't stop for even a second. Go through the middle first and around the area later. When you use one of the pull stars, let go of A right before you get to it for a slingshot effect.
