  • Stunt!!!

  • uard, grandfather- Unterofficier Wehrmacht, Great uncle-Officer Wehrmacht, Great uncle-lost at Stalingrad, along with with numerous other family in the Wehrmacht as well as WW1........... in my own familynever seen a more conflicted combo of intelligence, arrogance and misguidance! But still proud to be German nonetheless!!!

  • just like many inventions BRITISH CLAIM they made the heli

STFU just copied the GERMANS during and after the war

    LONG LIVE GERMANY

  • I FEEL DEEPLY PROUD !!!! OF THE TRUTH REVEALED IN THIS MOVIE !!!

  • ahh those germans are special war time operational helicopter before people knew how to spell helicopter... let the jealousy began

  • hmmmm, music from 'Where eagles dare'?

  • I have often wondered... Why is it that the 2 "bad guys" of WW2 (Germany and Japan)... Seem to be the smartest and most productive people in the world.. Back then and even to this day... German and Japanese products are the best!

  • @bliglum that's why the fuckers are engineering tsunamis,.... to fuck and drag us into the dark ages !!!!

  • @bondita Engineering tsunamis!? I dunno about that... cause' even if they could, why would they smash themselves with one?

  • Naci's had Jet planes,Helicopters,V2 rockets and so many other thigs that very Sci-fi for the rest of the world..but they also had a stupid leader called hitler,if they waited 10 years with a war they would be far superior 2 other armies

  • 1 person had their idea stolen by the nazis

  • Exactly, the Germans are the smartest, brightest, and have the greatest ingenuity! I say this all the time but people say, "Noooooo, they're all Nazi's, THEY ARE RETARDED!" and I think...how the hell do you think that? They made one of the first helicopters, the first jet airplane, the first self propelled rocket (war), the best tanks, the best guns, the best cars, almost the best food :), Etc.

  • Amazing, never seen footage of german helicopters during or prior WWII. So what big name videogame would like to take ont this?

  • GERMAN'S VERY SMART PEOPLE'S

  • were Alien Technology Invovled as w/ Churchills ..lie too humans of this planet..???

  • HOW did they NOT WIN thier WAR ...VERY CONFABED.. they were the BEST and THE BRIGHTEST....

  • @trianglepoints answer is pretty easy: cause hitler ;)

  • 2:09 - 2:24 that must be the heavy cruiser Blücher

  • Millions of you may condemn Nazi, but I'm one of the other millions who admire their military technology, uniforms & powerful graphic image of their Flags & Eagles.

  • The III Reich could have been 10 or even more years ahead in the technological aspect depending on the filed,,,, but at least 200 years in the sociopolitical spectrum,, stick around for another 150 and you will agree with me.

  • Amazing that no one really talks about these developments in History class, guess no one wants to give credit to the Nazi scientist for developing anything.

  • In history class they would possibly be perplexed to explain that the FL 265 and FL 282 were both designed and engineered by Dr Kurt Hohenemser, a jewish man.

Anton Fletner's jewish wife was personally escorted to sweden by the SS for her protection by order of Himler and then they were reunited after the war and moved to the USA.

  • sorry that I have correct you! Dr Kurt Hohenemser was not jewish! His father was jewish. He then was a half Jew. There where a lot of "half Jews" serving in the "German Wehrmacht" during war. Ironically it was the right place of them to stay save. You will find a report about that on Youtube.

  • @Grommo Not surprising at all. Search for "Hitler´s jewish soldiers"- up to 100.000 jews proudly served in the Wehrmacht and had ranks as high as admiral.

WW2 history as its teached is bollony, starting from that "germany out to conquer the world"-hogwash over to the "lolocaust", we are leid at since before we can think.

    Kind regards.

  • @Grommo I know your post is very old but the problem and disturbing thing is that he was jewish like many people at this time in germany (wich had the biggest jewish population) but at the same time he was german. Its always the jews but many of them were germans wich fought in ww1 or many wich were scientists. All those germans were betrayed by there own people. Thats the sad thing but no one says it this way.

  • @Euroslc i think u mean the german scientists,... if u read the caption, a jewish german made a cornerstone, in helicopter use in germany, do u remember nazi were rounding up jews gassing them, skinning them, experimenting them.... not all germans are nazi's

  • @Euroslc agree... ground breaking machines

  • so the helicopter has already been around for a while!

  • why didnt used them in the WWII?

  • Well mainly due to the Allied bombing only a handful of the Fa 223s etc. was produced.

  • They did.

please read the more info section under the subscribe button.

The 265 & 282 were used operationally by the kriegsmarine.

There was no problem with engine power or requirement of turbines. The 282 Still holds the world record of most lift per horsepower. Inability to produce them in large numbers due to bombing of factories and the jigs was significant.

The 282 was able to be flown by amateur pilots after only a few hours training, as indicated by a housewife trained in 3 hours.

  • @Grommo Oh man that is way cool i want one.

  • I heard they were used on a limited scale on the Russian Front for supply missions and evacuation of wounded.

  • Hanna Reitsch was a great women pilot now forgotten. It was British women pilots who pulled off the first and greatest helicopter rescues of WW2.

  • looks like an autogyro with that engine in front but maybe not :)

  • History is written by those who win wars...

As far as The 3rd Reich being 10 years ahead, I would politely disagree. They much more advanced than that.

Unfortunately, as I said before, history is written by those who win wars.

  • YES! very true...

convenient how that's all forgotten eh!

  • nice airplanes =D

  • Good footage, might I suggest you tidy up the two different videos into one? Part 2 has 98% of part 1 with a 20 sec black spot at the end followed by a small clip that most would miss as they think the clip ended already.

  • Guess where even the Barbie Doll came from! Bild Lilli the German doll

  • Nice video Grommo, thanks for post

Very interesting to the intended use of the F-223 for the rescue of Mussolini from Gran Sasso. I believe that the German technical development is due the excellent level of German scientific school. The problem was the lack of an organization that gave priority and resources, since the early years (1939-1942) (!), to the few truly useful projects, for example, V2, EMW Wasserfall, Me-262, He-162, and ... atomic program.... Fortunately this has not happened...

  • yes the rest of the world dosnt like to admit that one of the worst dictatorships in history was technologically 10 years ahead of them.

  • My congratulations on two amazing footage videos Grommo!

I hadnt seen these clips before, and it is truly awesome!

  • I believe the present rotor system used on the Kaman HH-43 and the Kamax are derived from the FL282. However, Kaman added servo flaps to the trailing edge of the rotors which are mounted on fixed non-rotating hubs and spoiled the controllability of the rotor system. 8-9 hours spent logging in a Husky or a Kamax is a real wrestling match. Not fun.

  • Were they used in combat like with rockets mg's?

  • The fa223 was fitted with a machine gun and carried half a ton of bombs and depth charges but they weren't used as assault platforms like an Apache. They were too rare and valuable and had other usefull unique abilities that were less risky. If their production orders of thousands had been able to be fulfilled then it's more likely they would be tried as attack craft. As it was they were already involved in air-forward operational planning and testing.

  • great footage and music.thanks

  • thank you grommo. rare and nice video.

    Bravo!!!

  • Thanks for the video real of WW2 helicopters. I posted it around on myspace and facebook for others to check it out.

    Thanks ....

  • hehe as far as i know they had to open all windows and doors in the deutschlandhalle, when reitsch did her flight, because when they tried first, there was not enough oxygen in the air, caused by the many persons and the helicopter. Hence the motor didnt run well :)

    impressive though

  • Yes, correct. about the windows and oxygen.

I read that the Deutschlandhalle still stands yet is due to be demolished

  • nice
