  • What a great sound from that gramophone, and a fine record too. Can you tell me who the orchestra is and when it was recorded?

  • Sorry, I mistakenly called it a gramophone, now I see it is a cylinder phonograph. I never realised they could sound so good!

  • The band playing on this one is the New York Military Band. This record was released the same year blue amberol records were introduced in 1912.
