Well to be honnest tis isen't Liam O'kane singing the ending solo in the version with the adults. Tis Steven Geraghty. Filmed in St. John's Church in 1999. But both versions are equally good:)
Have to admit both versions have a special appeal, but then that's what Libera is all about.
No matter what year, the quality is always so wonderful, a perpertual choir of sweet voices.
I have yet to meet anyone who is not astounded by the richness and clarity of their sound, thank you for posting these songs.
Looking forward to the new album in March 2010. New music and the thrill of hearing the young ones move up into solo roles. Libera keeps on giving, their sound is timeless.
it's so touching~
want to cry when listening to their voice

I am on the fence here, both are equally good but slightly different...
The first has the added depth of the whole bass voices, but the re-working of the song in the later one seems purer in voice...
But I really am on the fence, love anything Libera sing from the earliest 'stuff' to the latest in America in that sweltering cathedral...
LOVE it Love Libera... 'simples *squeek*'

lol I think. I like the first with the adult's voices. It's the same adults singing with st Philips Boys Choir in the church. Rare moment.
