What are you doing at about 2:44 with the pick? It looks like you're transferring it to the crook of your middle finger and then possibly muting the strings either side of the B string (or G, can't tell from here - whichever string is ringing), but I can't tell why? Would you really get that much string noise if you left them alone?

The PODxt is very easy to use (I'm not sure about the POD 2.0, never tried it). If you like this tone you can just download my preset: box.net/shared/hvayxvaif3

I think you need the Gearbox software to load the preset into your PODxt. Let me know if you need any help.

Yes, that can be a bit tricky sometimes. Without SMPTE I guess the only way is to use your eyes and ears to sync it manually.

Hey, I've one more question I hope it does not annoy you, Is there even a possability to record with the DOD xt ? or 2 ? I mean to connect the DOD with my amp and play the stuff I want and then put it on pc and to have the rere sound, do you understand what I mean ? best greetings

Well, there''s no sequencer in the POD if that's what you're asking. But you can plug it straight into the computer, or into an amp. Either way works fine. PODxt and 2.0 is very old now though, so I suggest you go for the newer HD ones or PODx3.

@chhrriissss I believe the backingtrack is from a rare release of the concerto suite DVD in japan, it contained backingtracks and tabs (!!!) for all of the songs.....

I know that guitar is a strat, but what model is it? It looks like a scalloped fretboard. Is that just the signature Malmsteen strat?

well, it has a reverse trussrod, and a modern 2-pivot tremolo, so i wouldn't believe it is a malmsteen signature, but it sounds like malmsteen pickups in the neck and bridge positions, and scalloped fretboard, so its probably a custom guitar
