I love the VTi. I just do. I share the same opinion with Tiff about the interior design, it has a lack of character. But the bodywork and the engine bay looks like it could be a car from later nineties or even from the year 2000.

I always felt this generation of Civic was a bit underrated. I liked the saloon version in particular. Easily the best small saloon in the class of the time (and I say that despite being a bit of a Ford Orion fan :-P)

awesome car. my 18 year civic can still hit the 200kph mark and gives exellent mileage per gal. it can smoke most of the 1.6L category car in the market today.

@buttargh24 in the uk we have a few different vti models... the most common ones r the 1.6 vti 3door...i have the 1.8vti 5door version which is often over looked by a lot of people who dismiss it and compare it to a rover 400( they look almost identical)

on paper the 1.6 is slightly faster than the 1.8 to reach 60mph so a lot of folk opt for the 1.6 not realising how good the 1.8 actually is....if u ever think about getting an old euro civic the 1.8 has LSD and is restricted to 150mph
