  • Excellent video, Don. The death's head was a nice touch, especially from the back of that train! I think your PC movie making tools are superior to Mac's. I can't do many of the effects you use.

  • Oh, I just use Windows MovieMaker which comes with Windows. MovieMaker comes with several effects but there are literally hundreds more which can be used if you know how to add an "addon FX" folder.

  • All those graveyard silhouettes are fascinating structures. Although it isn't a place people would think to appreciate the artistic side of it.. still it's amazing what pictures you can take from some of these places. You've demonstrated that. You make some great vids.

  • Thank you, Rhonda9. A YT'er by the name of LadyLomea made some videos about the old Nashville City Cemetery and Mt. Olivet and I was really intrigued by that style of video making especially the city cemetery one which is in my Favs. Hence, I tried to somewhat mimic that style but I needed quicker pan shots and I'm not sure my camera is capable of capturing well when swiftly panning. Anyway, on to the next project! There is a humor video forming in my mind.

  • Very dark, cool video and loved that song!

  • Not sure but I think it might have been a cover of a Tom Waits song. I wish the song was longer because I took nearly 20 minutes of video. A major problem I encountered was finding a train or at least an engine train. I found one in Nashville but climbing on it was prohibited. I settled for the little caboose they have on display at Canonsburgh village. It was afterward that I remembered they have a train inside a restaurant on 2nd Avenue in Nashville. Oh well.

  • Wow. Just wow. Very cool. Love the whole "black and white" thing. You just get better and better with your videos.

  • Thank you, NiceDreams123. Believe it or not the video was made on two discs - the second being a screenshot of the first. The first disc had technical difficulties and would not convert out of VOB files due to a glitch in the disc but it would play on the computer. So I played it on my PC and filmed it off the screen a second time. I've been wanting to do something with that song for a long time. Gave me an excuse to see Mt. Olivet again and I found two relatives in the process.
