HDMI only goes to 1080 to my knowledge, DVI goes beyond HDMI in buspeed and signal lines.

@vearheart42 I noted some big changed in HDMI, your right it does go beyond 1080p Other then using it for TVs and consols I have not used HDMI at all but I know HDMI does not beat DVI, that's all on the graphics support side of a computer or other output, overall with the DVI connections is it made to handle more signal band then HDMI is meant to handle. What the max bandwidth is for either one, that's once again mostly determined on the source, that was my basis mostly.

HDMI biedt vooral voordel bij portable devices of naar enkele devices die zowel video als audio afhandelen, want dan kan je het met één ipv 2 snoeren af. Dat is bij een computer met monitor niet het geval, want dan gebruik je alleen video en het is ook niet portable.

DVI is pretty much the same as HDMI but it also supports analog. I don't think you have any what you are talkin about, sukkeltje.

why are people so hung up on memory. A 1792 mb gtx 275 doesen't perform any better than a gtx 275 with 896 mb with current games from the benchmarks I have seen so why would this or the 2gb GTX 285's be any better?

on higher resolutions they DO perform better. like 2560x1600 you will need a big amount of video memory to run high settings.

your right, memory is used on higher resolution screens, and tbh, i think around 1 gb is probably max for a 24inch monitor. no one uses the 30" monitors, or at least not many people use 2560 x 1600 resolution, making the 2gb, kinda useless
