  • damn... what have i been doing these past few years??? You opened my eyes.. Thank you.

  • hey girl!

    you play very, very nice!

cheer up! and go on! right to the top!

  • Check out Melvin Sparks, your attack seems similar but look where he takes his improvisations. Very nice playing on second listening....

  • I would love to have heard this rendition on a double guitar like Jon McLaughlin used to play with the lower part one octave down on bass strings. Very focused playing nice and percussive almost like DiMeola or (Gumby Ortiz) lol.

  • I respect your beautiful talent,

Good going your playing great quality music.

    God Bless you Honey!

  • Pink panther music!! But I love it!

  • I like this version too. I hear many Don Mock like phrases:)

  • Awesome! :D <3

  • see i need a girlfriend that can appreciate jazz.

  • I think I love You.

  • awesome!

  • She is a robot! But Emily Remler was really feeling what she plays!

  • guitristkafr:

I am a jazz guitarist myself, and that was a wonderful performance! You have a talent, so please keep playing...

Your phrasing is especially pleasing and not overdone as with so many people.

  • Great! wonderful playing! Remember me Emily.

    5***** !!!

  • Grande 5*****

  • Smooth!

  • fab

  • If it is worked out in advance so what? It sounds good to me. Pat Metheny's sound worked out to some extent and he's the pinnacle.

  • Hi guitristkafr, that was a nice improvisation, you should defenitly listen to Steve Khan. Many people are saying that you've got talent but isn't that relative ? I'm sure you practiced and study alot and that you love the music. Anyway, if the music is in the brain you'll stay insane ! (as a matter of speaking :) )

  • i wish ai had a girlfriend like her.studying, playing and whatever...

  • not an improvised solo...

    it is clearly written down...

  • Ibanez GB-10? nice

  • nice guitar and playing

  • Just WOW ! Im very impressed.

  • 5 stars

  • Marry me!

  • nice work on this! * * * * *

  • I was impressed with your lines especially around :45. You really have a lot of talent!

  • oh thank you :)

  • Very nice! That after only 3 years? If you haven't already done so, check out Mel Bay's 'The Complete Johnny Smith Approach To Guitar' ....excellent and a must have for all jazz guitar players.

    Keep at it! : )

  • Thanks for the advice, I'll check it out for sure!

  • ocheen horosho!!! ya lublu eta

  • Haha, thank you :)

  • Very nice playing. Was that a quote from Steve Khan's Chord Khancepts at the beginning?

  • thanks, actualy no :) I even don't know who is Steve Khan :)))

  • great.makes me wanna practice more n more.

i'm a girl n play guitar too, just start 3/4 years ago.

hope i could play like you...

    keep up!! *goodluck from indonesia

  • I am sure you will. There in the video I played guitar for 3 years. Good luck!

  • @guitristkafr You're kidding me, aren't you? You were really playing only for 3 years when you made? You mean, you were playing jazz for only 3 years, don't you? You must have been playing classical or even folk or some form of guitar music for several years before that.

  • i wish i could get my girlfriend to play guitar again, she used to love it but now shed just rather listen to me and is intimidated by male playing. ill get her to watch this for sure.

  • Hie Tanya. Do you have an e-mail adress ??.

I returned again to this comments frame & could be great for you to share your self commin' to Mexico and taste & breath other atmospheres for your own growin' jazz guitar study. I'm plannin to say goodbye to the University an make a new jazz guitar duet with an acoustic bass and play freely with no burocratic tites. My blessees for Tanya. ALCI REBOLLEDO.

  • Thanks. Well I like Pat Martino, Joe Diorio, Mike Stern. But I also had some lessons with Igor Boiko, russian guitarist and great teacher, so he influenced me a lot!

  • Great job. I really dig your phrasing. Who are you major influences? Your style sounds vaguely familiar, yet refreshingly original.

  • How can I contact you ? I not even not to speak russian.. can you leave a reply in my youtube section: type: alci rebolledo. I want to know about you.

  • Hello, you can contact me on youtube mail. I speak not only russian, but also french and english.

  • Hello again guitristkafr: I'm mexican. I live in Jalapa in the state of Veracruz. We have a lot jazz festivals in this little city. I'ts 4 hours from Mexico City. It doesn't look like a famous place for these events but it stills growin' fine enough since the 70's. Dizzy visit us in the late 70's, Cal Tjader, Irakere. Paul Mcandless and many more.

My YouTube page is ALCI REBOLLEDO . Please tell me , please, how I refer to you ?.. What's your name ??. Keep in touch, will you ?.

  • Very cool! I love this kinda style, check out Duke Robillard. Cheers:)

  • good techical

    molto brava !

    ciao BB

  • Cool with a girl thats playing jazz guitar!

    Subscribing at once :)

  • Her name is Tatiana Peznya (sp?) and I think she is mainly a rocker, but hot she is!!

  • I am not a rocker at all! LOL

  • Sorry, I wasn't sure. Did I get the name correct. Where do you live ( not your address, just a country)? What guitar are you playing in this video? You are very talented.

  • Thanks, I live in France now. I played Ibanez in this video, but it's not mine :)

  • Please post more. I am very interested in your style. Do you play other styles? Thanks,

    Dave

  • I would be happy to post more, but I have no idea how I could record my video. Those recordings are made by my teacher Igor Boiko. Even if I have a camera at home, I dont know the technical moment...

  • Find a friend who knows how. It doesn't have to be a big production. Just something casual from your living room is O.K. Just play..PLAY...

  • your sexy

  • Nice playing and nice guitar.

  • just because she's a female jazz player she's not Emily Remler. She's got chops, but her phrasing is not nearly as swinging as ER. that said, she DOES have nice tone and obviously knows some sh#t about playing.

  • very good: mood and swing....

  • Remler lives!

  • your good and hot. keep up great work.

  • nice frasing licks you got there..well done, 4 stars from me :)

  • Who is this girl?

  • the only thing i now is that shes from france and 21 years old or 22 dont remember:)

  • The new Emily Remler!!!

  • Muuuuuuuuuuuy bueno

  • Great Job!!!

    Congratulations from Brazil!!

  • Merci pour ce délicieux et pur moment de bonheur !... Maintenant j'ai le bleus dans ma bonne ville du sud de la France, Toulouse !

Pourriez-vous jouer un blues pour moi?

  • Wow.

  • you're not emily remler...

  • of course not! who is? besides, emily remler was one of the top 5 guitarists in America (not just among women either). many of us never will be among the top 5 but this chick here is excellent!

  • Of course no and thats why I am happy :) I am Tanya Pesnya :)

  • be proud, you're great!

  • You don't exist! You're too amazing to exist.

  • too fast!

  • Wow, I love this video, my teacher is getting me to play this, but I am nowhere near this good!!! In fact all of Igor Boiko's students seem very accomplished players. I have to ask though, this solo is so well constructed that is seems like it could have been composed. Please miss guitristkafr I would be grateful if you could let me know if this was truly improvised or composed before hand. Whichever way it is still ace!!!

  • Definitely composed. But, executed well. And, when she knows 10 of these, she will have the tools to start composing her own. Whoever Igor is, he's got an excellent approach to teaching jazz, in my opinion.

  • Super Super.

    Sa déchire.

    Bonne continuation.

  • Girl you are baddddd to the bone

  • Very awesome grooves!

  • 0:26 Grooves!!!

  • pleasure to hear and to watch as well. How old are you if it's not indiscret?

  • when I played this compo I was 18 years old. Now i am 21.

  • you re super!keep pricticing.i believe you must work more on your right hand and on your phrases.great tone!

  • thanks, pleasure to hear :)

  • Magnificent tone!

  • Excellent! :)

  • You are VERY good - but that's no excuse to stop practising!
