Yes he sucksh, only averaged close 19.5 ppg at 52 %FG (close 20 if he did not come back in 1995-96), 11.2 aspg and 7.2 rpg and 2 spg for his WHOLE CAREER. Reached the NBA finals like 8 Times (Won 5). Played Center as a 20 year old rookie in the 1980 G7 of the Finals at 6`7 1/2 ft while getting 45 points, 15 rebounds and 7 assits. Could Play PG-SF-PF-C. Came back in 1996 (5 years not plaing pro!) to average near 15 ppg, 7 aspg and 5.7 rpg at age 36 playinng only 30 min as Point Power Forward!

Both Magic and Bird where more complete game players before they came in to the NBA because they were not as athletic from the beginning. Jordan learned to be a complete force as the years went. You can`tell on how as the years went his game style changed by adding thaat leadership and passing (with his other hand up as Magic) as well as that post up long distance jumper clutch shots which he developed watchin Bird. First off Shaq's pivot movements gave him a lot of injuries like that great injury that he had back with the Lakers in his first two seasons. Forcing his body to make quick moves was tearing him a part. Then other players impeding his progress also injured him a lot. If he would have developed an effective 20foot jump shot then maybe he wouldn't have been so injury fatigued. Look at the way Shaq's free throws look ... hardly any finesse or ease in his release at the line. Kareem is #1.

Magic Johnson screwed up his mystique by not being smart off the court. So he did himself in. As a player I feel he's the second best player in NBA history behind Kareem. Shaq is a loser. Your Laker team should despise him much. The guy was an overgrown nothing in the NBA who liked attention and made little sense. Even Wilt Chamberlain picked Gheorge Mursean over him for more talent. Kobe is pretty good when he's healthy. Maybe the Pistons and the Lakers will get a re-match this year.

Like I said Kareem is the best. Shaq doesn't come out to guard anyone always consistently looms to much under the basket. A great center is that of Hakeem The Dream or Kareem. They played well-rounded defense. Shaq's game has been limited on both ends by his inabilities to be quick and effective on guarding jump shots. That's why Houston beat Orlando in large part 4-0 in '95. When Shaq won his 4 titles if there were the likes of Kareem, David Robinson, and the Dream around -

0 titles!
