I've never been a fan of this boss. I tried the demo of Jim HD the other day, and, to my horror, I couldn't find the shortcut to skip this trashbin boss (I always used it in the PC version). I got pwned playing HD in "original" mode, and the easy one with its HP meter was just plain silly. Boss music was a nice surprise, though.
However, I think I'll go and try to find my PC edition now...
I love shooting this boss to peices.

You're better off with the PC. HD is nowhere near as good as Special Edition.
