I read in an interview he gave in the 90's-a whole decade before-that he was late because he had to get his ankles taped up before going onstage. You say there was no danger as glass wasn't involved yet bottles of fluid spilling over the stage isn't exactly safe when you have performers running around. If you go to a GNR concert you have to expect they will be late, it's always been that way. Even while the speakers were on stage trying to sort things people were still throwing things, even what looked like a "bottle" of beer!! Hope he came back on stage for the rest of the crowd who were doing the right thing.

@stev69 when you have to wait 2 hours in a sweaty crowd full of angry people, you would release frustration at the band. I say this from experience, i saw them at Reading 2010, i was in the front row, everyone was fucking angry because we waited so long. We were seriously getting crushed against the barriers, stuff was being thrown everywhere etc. It just got everyone fucked off. And to top it off, the show was mediocre at best. Axl is an incredible musician, but he ruins it with his attitude.

You say there was no danger as glass wasn't involved yet bottles of fluid spilling over the stage isn't exactly safe when you have performers running around. If you go to a GNR concert you have to expect they will be late, it's always been that way. Even while the speakers were on stage trying to sort things people were still throwing things, even what looked like a "bottle" of beer!! Hope he came back on stage for the rest of the crowd who were doing the right thing.

If you don't agree then go & buy one of their concert DVDs and watch it at home at a time that suits you. I say this from experience, i saw them at Reading 2010, i was in the front row, everyone was fucking angry because we waited so long. We were seriously getting crushed against the barriers, stuff was being thrown everywhere etc. It just got everyone fucked off. And to top it off, the show was mediocre at best. And being known for erratic and bad behavior or even just unprofessional behavior in general doesn't excuse it. If you're a fan of anything you shouldn't have to put up with anyone's bullshit to enjoy it. Period. And yes, I've been to rock shows and a GNR show.

I am not agreeing with this behavior, nor excusing it, and I repeatedly stated, it isn't professional, and as I repeatedly stated, no other profession would let anyone get away with this shite. What I did say however is that if you buy GnR tickets and expect a timely show with professional conduct, then you,...obviously, don't know the band. Agreed, unprofessional. However, he also warned the crowd who chose to stick around for 3 hours. Why blow it now.

IT would be worth waiting 2 or 3 hours if it was the real Guns N' Roses. However this is fake GNR and it totally is not worth staying up that late over them. Calling this GNR is simply to make money.
