It wasn't meant to be josh's solo, and i'm sure he wouldn't want to be put on the spot just yet, as he hasn't been playing with them for anywhere near as long as john did. Imagine the pressure of taking over for John, after nearly two decades of (Mostly) the same four people jamming constantly, and knowing that everyone else in the band has a far deeper connection with each other than he has. He's learning the ropes to get better for the future.

I love John to death but man, he left after all, he served well, but don't cling to him, Because Josh is great too. If you are a true fan, you remember Uplift Mofo into Mother's Milk, this is the beginning, just like John's if you don't like Josh, don't listen to their new stuff, simple. When he and the band meld together and feel what each one is playing and words are no longer necessary, this will all be magic, not that it isn't good right now. Be happy they're still making music today man.

everyone in the video including chad looks left handed because the video has obviously been mirrored. normally for the peppers the bass and guitar are on opposite sides of the stage. and obviously chad didn't start settting up his drumkit backwards. this is a great quality video i don't know why anyone would want to mirror it in the editing process.

I'm a huge RHCP fan and I do think that I'm With You is a good album. Its a solid work and you recognize the Peppers' style in it. I know everyone is sick about the whole John vs Josh thing, but I have to repeat it seeing this performance: Josh is a great musician and an awesome person for sure but he can't replace John, whos a genius. I think he brought the magic into the Peppers that i miss in the performance and the album. I love RHCP an respect Josh but I really miss John Frusciante!

This is the reason John quit the band again. He wasn't agree to comp with Flea and Anthony. Now Josh is more of a team player which is good for the other band mates, besides the fact he's shy. I hope they give him more freedom some day. By the way, even John jams with one chord on some concerts.
