I love this theme song befitting of greatness Steve McQueen the coolest of them all!

It was his 'mare's leg', like the Rifleman's rifle, that was the center of the show. What was funny about both, if you watch, both of the levers would change shapes. It was still a great show with a great star.

In the original network episodes, the sponsor's product occupied the lower left-hand corner of the closing credits where the "wanted poster" is. That space was filled with Viceroy cigarettes [regular AND "king size"], or, on alternate weeks, a box of Kleenex tissues [Kimberly-Clark co-sponsored the series with Brown & Williamson Tobacco, in the 1959-'60 season].
