  • okay, hun, get your clouds straight those are TORNADO CLOUDS!!

  • NONE OF THESE ARE PHOTOS OF A HURRICANE!

majority of these shots are from a supercell over nebraska from May 2004

all of these photos are from ExtremeInstability

  • żadna karolina nam Polakom nie straszna i chuj !!

  • oh look at that same top comment

  • do u no da difference u need to go back to school

  • @TornadoFan97 apparently you do to. it's the not "da" spell check. it's there keeping you from looking like an idiot.

  • Sorry but do you know what hurricans and tornadoes are??? There's a HUGE difference!

And the video you posted actually are tornadic clouds and NOT hurricanes, and BTW you cannot tape a hurrican eye in such a small place, they takes alot of miles!

  • @MrFreddy2189 its hurricane u dumbo

  • @MrFreddy2189 its hurricane

  • @MrFreddy2189

Unfortunately some websites shows pictures and photos of tornado and talk about hurricanes, I also heard foreign news channel calling hurricanes tornado and vice-versa....

Someone should explain to the people the substancial difference!!!

  • I like how tornadoes look like blown up nukes, in a smaller way...

  • 0:31 same brotha wit an afro adn it could be jimi hendrix from how it looks. jimi hendrix and katrina done tag teamed new orleans

  • 0:18 is a brotha wit an afro. i know yall seeing.

  • my penis is pussy

  • hurricanes cause tornadoes.

  • 0:21is wierdd..

  • These aren't my shots, but I know about most of them. I chased several of these storms myself. Most all are from various tornadic storms in Nebraska during the early 2000's. If you wish to view some of the most clear, photogenic tornado photos in the world, (and most all these shown here are his) then Google EXTREME INSTABILITY for some real eye candy. The web owner / photog is Mike Hollingshead, from near Omaha Nebraska. I've been fortunate to see him while chasing many times, he's fantastic.

  • URBAN legend:

     urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_hurricane_katrina_pictures.htm

  • Dude that was a massive wall cloud

  • That's frekin crazy!!!

  • i HATE hurricane katrina

  • Pretty pictures....

  • (Post 3 of 3) I had a 3 hour drive to get to Omaha from my relative's farm in Boone Co. Nebraska. As I headed south about halfway thru my drive, I noticed the sky getting dark ahead of me. Now, it's only about noon or so at the time. Pretty soon, I began hearing tornado reports from the area I was headed. I couldn't believe it, as most tornadoes in the midwest DO NOT happen around noonish. But, sure enough, things kicked off early, and the photog of these pics, Mr. Mike Hollingshead, was there.

  • (Post 2 of 3) (#3- Nebr. somewhere. (#4 Can you see them...3 Tornadoes on ground at once! X-treme southern Nebr. (#5- Same Lincoln (Waverly) Nebr. storm as the main pic on right. (#6- Not Sure Where (#7- Pretty sure this was in southwest Nebraska (#8- Not sure on this one (#9- Once again, the Lincoln (Waverly) Nebraska storm. As mentioned previously, this storm made my plane become delayed from taking off, as it tracked right towards the Omaha metro area and the Omaha Airport. See post #3 of 3

  • (Post 1 of 3 ) ALL of these shots are Mike Hollingshead's, one of the top storm chasers in the world. I have chased with him. Here is the rundown on the shots, as best I remember. First off, the pic (the avatar?) is near Lincoln (Waverly) Nebr. I chased this storm. It delayed my plane later out of Omaha to where I missed my best friend's bachelor party in Vegas that nite. It was June 13th of either '05 or '06, I think. But def. June 13th. (#2 I chased this too in northeast Neb. W. of Sioux City.

  • the last one was the great labor day storm and i remember that very well

  • first is a supercell, second is a shelf cloud, third is tornado ( well duh! ) fourth is a wall cloud, fifth is a severe thunderstorm lowering base, sixths is a weak shelf cloud or roll cloud, seventh is another supercell, eighth is a wall cloud.

  • Comment removed

  • Those are just other tornadic storms or tornadoes. You dont even know what a hurricanes eye is. ITS THE CALMEST OF THE STORM

  • Não existe coisa mais explendida, e poderosa do que os fenomenos naturais

  • I have the same exact pictures on a floppy disc

  • That fourth picture looked like a person

  • kkkkkk

  • Not hurricanes... these are mesocyclonez from thunderstorms.

  • lol no way is that a hurricane. my geog teacher played this saying it was a hurricane. i had to explain it was a supercell. what a dumbass

  • Its a supercell over land not a huricane.

  • this video is not madeof Katrina, but a tornado that occurred in Brazil in the city of indaiatuba within the state of Sao Paulo!

  • @Gabrielsdm11 no it isnt dipshit....its photos from a storm chaser in nebraska..

  • umm. iv never seen a hurricane in my life i live in the UK so that explains it ... i think anything that spins and sucks u in is scary :L

  • omg this is soo werid but ive seen worst o.o my friends house was almost close to being flooding from irene so shes kinda scary

  • that was never a hurricane

  • Man, you would think someone would do basic research before making and posting a youtube video.

  • Thumbs up if u watchin this caus of hurricane irene :)

  • @mikemikemike60 dude that wasnt evan a hurricane it was a storm

  • @mikemikemike60 pft that was hardly a hurricane, nothing compared to what katrina was.

  • These look like tornado pictures

  • This is ridiculous, that isn't even Magee Mississippi, much less a hurricane. I was there during Katrina, only I lived on the coast, half a mile from the beach. This is bullshit.

  • @MsJadedmind LOL...

Several of Mike's images were stolen and forwarded via email under the label of "Katrina's Approach". In fact, one of the images mislabeled in that email graces the cover of Adventures in Tornado Alley. photography.about.com/od/photoopportunities/gr/tornadoalleybk.htm

  • TORNADO FODA EM

  • Tornado much ?

  • A huracan does not look like that! Those look like tornados clouds

  • @Vivoenpuertorico

They are its fake all from tornado.net

  • @Vivoenpuertorico actually when a hurricane ocurrs it is because of heat in timid weather pushing and turing the water which also effects the air so haa

  • none of those are of katrina they r all midwest tonadic supecells

  • ahahaha nose

  • dude AN HURRICANES EYE IS WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY UP NOT IN THE BOTTOM

  • @MissSimAsiaPacific Actually a hurricanes eye, if well formed goes from the bottom through to the top of the storm. During the middle of a hurricane when the eye passes over it is not uncommon to see sunshine and blue clouds.

  • 0:12 Is a tornado

  • The fourth photo is not even PART of Katrina. It is a violent cyclical tornadic supercell.

  • Epic fail

  • jakieduze to torna do xf

  • absolutely not!!

  • Those are supercell

  • scary

  • Those are Tornados

  • Nope. snopes(dot)com(slash)photos(slash)natural(slash)storm.asp

    Sorry, YT won't allow links.

  • this pics wazzzzz just wall clouds, supercells, and tornado

  • 0:12 IS JUST A TORNADO

  • @DarkneGothic yes hurricanes spawn tornadoes genius

  • @DarkneGothic Hurricanes can spawn tornadoes. I learned that info 4 years from now.

  • hurricane :D YEA FLORIDA :3

  • 00:11 top right corner you can see a alien figure...

  • the end one looks like dat skull in harry potter!

  • she looks like queen of england haha at 0:15

  • Enjoy the silence.

  • A few years ago, two parents went out for dinner. A few hours later, the babysitter was calling to ask if she could cover up the clown statue in the kids' room, the father said, "Take the kids and get out of the house. We'll call the police, we don't have a clown statue." The "clown statue" is really a killer that escaped from jail. If you don't post this letter on to 10 videos tonight, the clown will be in your bed at 3:00 am with a chainsaw in his hand.

  • Several Types of these hurricanes here --> Wilma, Katrina, Catarina, Luis, Ivan .-.

It Also has several categories to make these here --> f1 f2 f3 f4 f5. the category does not exist

  • I lived in New Orleans when Hurricane Katrina passed over there!! Despair of each family includes inter mine was Oart From the Heart! Me and my family were at home when the hurricane hit our city! Would be the same as the adage goes if it gets the worm eats the beast! Fortunately we all got out alive !!!!!

  • she is a hell of a bitch!!

  • just wall clouds

  • It's not Katrina, but some of the most beautiful (and dangerous) Supercell storms I ever seen.

  • Google: Mike Hollingshead

  • hmmmmm.... looks like a storms a commin

  • I think you don't know your weather.

For one: These are wall cloud and super cell formations, not the eye of a hurricane.

For two: AS SHOWN IN THE FIRST PICTURE, WHEN IN THE FUCK DID YOU EVER HEAR OF RAIN FALLING FROM THE "EYE" OF A HURRICANE? IDIOT.

  • @XzCypheRzX Agreed, the eye of the hurricane is supposed to be the calmest, clearest, and best part of the hurricane. But no need for the language ;)

  • These are all pretty cool pictures, but that isn't what a hurricane looks like...these are tornadoes and interesting cloud formations.

  • achei que era vídeo

  • Did u actually look for the real eye or did u go on Google images

  • Since when is there clouds in the eye of a hurricane?

  • Wrong. Not a tornado but pictures of various supercell storms.

  • those are supercell funnel clouds, capable of producing tornados dumb dumbs

  • 0:19 is cool

  • There aren't any, um, clouds at the eye of a hurricane...

  • horiblle, i´m afraid.

  • sweet now go in the middle of a tornado and make a 1000000$ when you see the lightning in the middle twisting

    \

  • different supercells, wall clouds, funnel clouds. and they are all n different places! seriously! get real!

  • Even knowing its dangers and its violence, I always had a predilection for tornados and vortices. Hence arose my pseudonym and the name of my channel on YT.

  • A hurricane can be 1000's of kilometers across! Not 10 meters.

  • All of your photographs are from the book "Adventures in Tornado Alley: The Storm Chasers" by Mike Hollingsheadn and Eric Nguyen.

    google it yourself.

Besides, it's a bit disrespectful to reprint photos that are not yours without proper credit, and to not actual verify their authenticity is not cool either.

  • 0:12 looks like a tornado

  • Too small to be Katrina.

  • Super cells? The coolest scientific related shit i've ever heard of lol

  • i dont know if you heard but apparently the rest of us did...katrina was a hurricane not a tornado!

  • I'm sorry but that's not from Katrina. I have all those pictures on a floppy disk

  • that was crazyand asowme

  • its just random pics of TORNADOS..

  • Fucking amazing

  • her nose and chin is at 00:15

  • @jparke1977

lol1111111 SAW THE CHIN AND NOSE AND THEIRS A MOUTH

  • @jparke1977 I saw the same thing!! ohmygosh haha

  • @jparke1977 ya its a guy with an afro XD

  • @jparke1977 That's a pretty big head she's got.

  • @jparke1977 and afro

  • @jparke1977 its afroninja!

  • @jparke1977 lol and on top an afro!

  • no. i was in katrina the clouds are way different i had too go to the hospital i lost my leg . a palm tree branch hit my leg so hard it ruind my nerves hey im still here.We moved after that storm.

  • @MinorAmber9599 i feel so sorry for you : (

  • lol people get upset, just enoy the pictures, thats what it said in description bar

  • these are super cells....that's all. n i was in katrina. you couldn't see it. if you could. you were dead.

  • it aint a hurricane!! more of a tornado if ya ask me

  • that's not a hurricane/tropical storm cells.... they are way too large to capture in a landscape photo... the poster of this video is a complete fucking moron who obviously doenst get laid.

  • Lying jerk, first these were taken out in the Midwest, and secondly, these are Super Cells that spawned out there and NOT in the south. Sigh, the person who wrote that title didn't think we all were smart enough to catch this it seems. :/

  • They are dark clouds and tornados... Duh

  • It's funny because I don't even think the storms in these pictures belong to hurricanes at all, much less katrina.

  • That's not Katrina

  • Oh my god thats soooooo scary in holland we only have friendly clouds :p

  • YOU BITCH WILL SO GONNA PAY FOR THAAAT!!!! THOSE THINGS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THOSE!! IDIOTS!

  • These are definitely not from Katrina. They are real pictures but of various thunderstorm cells throughout the Midwestern United States. Several of these photos were taken in Nebraska and various other places.

  • its a strom structure producing a tornado

  • cloud walls and tornados cloud walls are signs for a tornado

  • @TheVenom1001 you mean wall clouds?

  • @PaRrOtReScUeWoTr well yes but i like to study storms

  • @TheVenom1001 I have been studying storms now for almost 15 years. That's why I responded to your comment. So to help you with your study... A wall cloud (generally referred to as a "rotating wall cloud") is an indicator that a super cell storm could imminently become tornadic (ie, produce a tornado) What you want to look for is rotation in the storm. The easiest (and safest) way is to get GR Level 3 and look for a "hook echo" on base reflectivity. If you have any questions feel free to ask :-)

  • maybe thats ur eye..

  • LLOOOll

  • q terror

  • I own these pictures, and are not from Hurricane Katrina are wallpapers

  • Awsome!

  • @justicetomato MHUOHOHOHOAA! Funnee!

  • Those are thunderstorm anvils, jackass.

  • WTF! This not Katrina.

  • all these pictures are of supercell thunderstorms in the great plains whoever made this video and especially whoever liked this video is retarded

  • isnt the eye of a hurricane the coldest part

  • The pics are from extreme instability.

  • These are not photos of Katrina nor were they taken by a man in Magee nor are they the property of grandmafan to post on YouTube. These are photos of supercells and are the property of the storm chaser that shot them. Use of the photos by grandmafran without the permission of the photographer is illegal and a violation of copyright laws.

  • why did i see many pictures of an apacalypse? : )

  • Well This is NOT katrina okay? its just some Scary idk cloud tihngs and some tornado.

  • Awesome pics but as you, yourself, stated NOT Katrina. Just wicked storm cell's and one tornado.

  • HA! Hurricane.... funny...

  • Cyclone Yasi hitting australia tonight is said to be larger and more powerful.

  • TORNADOSSSSSS lol

  • fyi, thats not a hurricane c:

  • there tornados and supercells stupid

  • looks like a bunch of MESO'S of you ask me i guess you can photo shop anything together and give it a name EH?

  • pretty sure thats an earthquake

  • Didn't Katrina came from ocean?

  • katrina was bigger than this.....

  • 0:23 thats pretty

  • I love how the comments say "It's a tornado stupids!"

    When it's not.

It's actually wall clouds and vortexes.

Which can produce tornadoes, but they aren't actually tornadoes.

  • THE LAST 1S HUGE WHOHHOHOHOHOHOHHOHOOOOO

  • That's a volcano.

  • Okay, seriously. The Eye of the hurricane is the clearest part of the storm...

  • supercells tend to be a bit smaller than huricanes

  • Oich sucks for them =/

  • yeah it's a tornadic storm retard
