I love that she is giving up praise but I hate that so many people are straddling the fence. It's kind of like Spanky playing for P.Diddy and Tye Tribbett. This doesn't mean, however, that they are any less talented.

@piffyp17-Why is it "straddling the fence if people are just trying to make a living? Church musicians play secular music because the church does not appreciate them and they want you to do everything for free.

@Holybass1 wow! I forgot I even commented on this. Either way, I will just never "get down" with people making a living off the church. If Apostle Paul could work as a tent builder, what makes the musicians and ministers of today, any better? Either way, the church has secularized itself by becoming a fiscal industry and has left itself open to people who don't care about the Church's initial purpose, but only care about a dollar.

@piffyp17-Well, you may have a problem with people "making a living off of the church" but apparently the Bible doesn't (1Co. 9:7-9, Lev. 19:13, Dt. 24:14-15, Mt:10:10, and 1Tim. 5:17-18). It's not fair to criticize musicians for playing secular music when most churches violate scripture by not paying them. In a perfect world, most church musicians would only play in church...but folks gotta eat LOL!

Prince basically discovered her. He liked her and signed her to a record deal with his company, Paisley Park Studios. He pretty much got her noticed, but her music sucked and didn't go anywhere. Prince pretty much funded it all. Then she got popular after that...playboy and whatnot. And yes, she was a model.
