  • @camoeseterno OMG..... GARY OLDMAN!?!?!?!

SHOOT! This guy is in a bunch of my favorite movies! xDDDD Holy crap, I didn't recognize him with short hair. LOL That bastard made me hate him as Dr. Smith, oh how i love his acting. <3

  • 3:20 "YOU GET NO CONTINENTAL BREAKFAST"

  • Yeah... I can't stand original voices! XD I like russian version much more =)

    P.S. Nothing personal, really))))

  • Gary Oldman! Oh, childhood, stop being ridiculous.

  • Is there any full movie in tube?

  • 3:18 lol Prof Robinson is like "Oh I am so fucked".

  • ITs the original voice of Meg!

  • Gary Oldman :L om nom nom!

  • 2:01 robo bitch-slapped

  • This movie rocked. It only got better as time went on. It blew Leonardo's & Kate's asses right off the deck of the Titanic and broke all records. It's too bad they never did the planned sequel, it could have been good.

  • Penny & Judy!

  • Can you seriously imagine the modern day family living and working in space LoLz you'd have the Gangsta family from LA and the Tracksuit Family from the UK all in space omg what a disaster half if not all the modern day kids dont have an education, yeah they could be space chimps :P

  • Lost In Space movie was awesome!! I havn't it in years!

  • What's really funny is that when the original TV series was made, the storyline took place in the year 1996!! LOLZ!

  • Love it when Prof. Robinson wings the Robot with the disruptor:

    "That... was... a mistake."

  • I loved this movie, but the story could have been better. The whole time travel/paradox theme has been done to death by sci-fi show and movies!

  • I don't really get the need to make " darker, edgier " versions of tv classics for the big screen. Sometimes, like the 1989 " Batman ", they do well, primarily because that re - make used Frank Miller's version of Gotham & Batman. Anyway, the original Lost in Space was campy, cheesy & FUN kid stuff. This cinematic version was fun, as well, but w / an edgier side. I've got VERY mixed feelings about it.

  • hahah spandex boobies

  • Man who else didnt know what the fuck they were talking about when you watched this vid as a kid?

  • could have been a good movie... the robot rules. but the monkey was a stupid idea..stupid sex banter between the crew...

  • I was greatly disappointed in the movie the first part - expected better. 2nd time I saw it,4 years later,I totally loved it! Go figure.

  • This movie sucks, BUT: I love it. It was a lot of fun when I was a child, and it's crapness still makes me smile today.

  • Is that Dewey from Malcolm in the Middle?

  • @GloballyImportant Nope. Completely different kid.

  • Best part out of this entire movie: The end credits.

VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY horrible movie

  • I was REALLY enjoying this film, what sort of spoilt if for me was that computer genarated monkey thingy at the end of the film. I like older film. I still would watch this film, I just need to find the tape from a charity shop sometime. My 3 favorite film at the moment are AI, Mission to Mars and Lost is Space. It's funny, once you actualy start to watch films other people say are cray, you really start to enjoy them, there are so many underated films out there.

  • this just was a bad movie

  • listen to the commentary, it tells what would have been in the sequel

  • i would fuck lacey chabert(spelling?)

  • Lost in Space is a Light Hearted Comic Book Fantasy, They just Clunked with a Sappy Schmaltzy Script in 1998 in th Remake. What a Hit Movie if they gave it another Shot at the Movies with a Better Script. a More Manly John Robinson has to be cast in it just like Guy Williams

  • @Roadracer987654321 The show was cheesy. But good. Someone posed this question to me, why send a family? Usually we go for a team of proffesionals for things like this. Even if they are recolonizing. and Guy Williams? Nahhh, he was good for the original, but this is a different time. We needed someone like Jack O'Neill from Stargate SG-1.

  • @LiveLaughLove8489 - " Why send a family ? " indeed. There were families & couples on board the Enterprise - D in Star Trek: TNG, & maybe if we do start seriously exploring & colonizing the outer solar system we'll send families - after the initial recon, surveys & exploration. Trained families that can work, live, & function onboard ships to the outer reaches of our solar system in a professional way & yet still be a family.

  • @BrettJRipley Well, at least the trailer made it look like this would be a good movie, but even then, the robot was pretty hammy too, but he deserves more credit than the actual actors

  • i loved this movie i wish they would have made a second one.

  • Lacey Chabert is hot I remember having a crush on her also when this movie came out to bad she is a movie star and like 8-9 years older than me I think she is 16-17 in this movie right?

  • @legend1617 About 15 or 16 she's 28 now.

  • Wow, everybody besides William Hurt, has unbelievable bland acting skills

  • @thestrangeblondegirl honestly I think in this movie the fucking robot was the best "actor" I was dissapointed with this movie when it first came out

  • @BrettJRipley the robot rlly was an actor. Well, voice over.

  • mimi rogers looked terrific in that suit.

  • You call that the good parts?

  • i like the robot the most of course penny (lacey chabert) she is a hottey

  • they should make a new one cause it would look bad ass due to all the new movie tech we have now

  • Agent: "So, Gary. I have Lost in Space here. What do you think?"

Gary Oldman: "How much are they going to pay me?"

Agent: "Well... I think it's more about adding gravitas and panache to-"

    Gary Oldman: "HOW MUCH!?"

    Agent: "... a LOT."

Gary Oldman: "Where do I sign?"

  • i just LOVED robot.

  • none of u know wat 2058 will be like but hey sir dave u have any good plans in 48 years from 2010?

  • Lacey Chabert's voice made me fall in love with her ..BAD!! Like portalplayer, my crush was also overwhelming.... That tight space/cryo-suit with inbuilt boobies? It was almost criminal!

  • @diakrite I remember when she had those vid journal entries.

Yeah, she was the underrated hottie in this one. I think most people were thinking of Heather Graham or Demi Moore. Still, my favorite character was Dr. Smith, except when he became that damn spider thing.

  • 1:50

Robot: "Announce mission objectives repeatedly. Announce mission objectives repeatedly. Announce mission objectives repeatedly.

  • Great movie! :D

  • I like Matt LeBlanc in this role...I was always felt that he would be amazing in a serious role...want to see him in something even more serious, but this will have to do.

  • HOLY SHIT!

That's the guy from Wormhole Xtreme @5:56!!

  • i love this movie, you really have to love science fiction to love this film. most people love horror movies over science fiction movies why is that?

  • i love all the movie

  • The big blue version is one of the best tread based robot designs Ive ever seen. Robot B9, Nova Robotics SAINT line, and Wall-E are my top three!

  • I loved this movie, and I still do

  • "Crush!"

    "Kill!"

    "Destroy!"

gotta love that voice of the one and only Dick Tufield, the voice of the Robot!

  • Not Dick Tufield...Bob May.

  • Didn't know gary oldman was in this movie. Its been a while since i've seen this movie. Not used to seen gary with short hair

  • Gary Oldman and the Robot were the only awesome things in this movie!

    'I love you, wife.'

    rofl

  • 2:02 -Robo Pimp slap-

  • This film has so many plot holes.

  • man this film seemed so good when i was a kid...

  • @capitanoinsano yeah same here. As kids we didn't notice the plot holes the wooden dialog or dumb concept.

Is it any wonder why so many bad kids film and tv shows are hits? Cos kids don't really care.

  • I remember I really loved this movie when I was 9, and my parents always thought I was crazy. Now I kind of know why. lol But it's definitly got camp value I'll give it that.

  • @capitanoinsano it still holds up.

  • AHHH Gary Oldmannn!!!!

holy shit i have had this movie my whole life and i never saw it..... shame... i gotta go watch it.

and haha Joey from friends is in it too!! <3

  • does not matter what you think of the edit...lacy chabert in this movie - FUCKING SMOKING HOT!

  • The Nostalgia Critic is reviewing this sucker! :)

  • hahaha boobsuits

  • why did he done that?

  • I loved this film when it came out

  • yeah!

  • how is the actors please

  • Cool looking space suit things.

  • 3:16 Robot: Oh Hell no you did not just shoot me"

  • Doctor Smith did not INTEND to be onboard

  • BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDD AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACCCCCCCTTTTTTINNG....c'ept of gary oldman that man can do anything!

  • I loved the production design, the robot, and Gary Oldman. The casting was OK, and I didn't even have a problem with "Joey" as West. But the dialog! Every time someone opened their mouth, a little part of me died inside.

  • you described the film, and my opinion of it, perfectly

  • oh, that and that monkey alien ruined it.

  • Didnt you want to grab that "thing" and throw it and that whiny as Penny to the spiders!

  • oh my god yes. literally the film was really awesome and then it goes down THAT road with the monkey.

  • what do you all know???

  • This movie has so much potential what a waste!

  • If you haven't seen it, you might find the deleted scenes to make a lot more sense out of what went on. I know after I was able to see it, the movie suddenly made a lot more sense AND it became far more interesting to me.

  • @JaneCochran I kind of figured out what was going on, and I could sense some solid sci-fi ideas in the plot's framework. And though I wish they'd gone with Mumy as adult Will, the main cast was made up of strong performers. But the money must have run out after right after they paid for the stars and set construction, leaving them with nothing to pay for a good script doctor or a better director. Such a disappointment.

  • My mate had a toy of that robot...I was soo jealous as a kid- he still has it boxed and everything

  • Although Judy needs to be more like a barbie doll.

  • Although Judy was originally a blonde.lol. Judy needs to be blonde.

  • Throughout the movie there are scenes where the characters are falling. Visually, they are very satisfying.

    Especially at 3:24

  • Comment removed

  • suck my balls smith >=(

  • I remember there was a trailer for this movie that used either Busy Child or Keep Hope Alive, both by the Crystal Method. Can't seem to find it here on YT though.

  • lol Dewey is a genius

  • THAT WAS A MISTAKE.

  • what was

  • its in the clip; it is what the Robot says.

  • oh yhe LOL

  • dammit joey, go back to friends...

  • i remember when i saw this i was liek shit gary oldmen is in everything

  • I never cared about the story- I just loved to watch it because of the look. I remember I had just gotten Wipeout XL and seen The Fifth Element at that time and between the three it made me really interested in science and tech... We need more sci-fi these days- Minority Report was the last good one I've seen...

  • 4:00 = pwnage lol

  • I was sad when the robot died :(

As a kid I loved this film. I might rent it out just to see it again :D

  • This movie had (almost)everything it needed , good actors , good special effects, good story (not all of it).

It could have been a classic , but somehow it dint deliver.

I recon bad script killed it , oh and the spider part wasnt really that well done.

    Such a waste

  • fuck!!! thats not the robot

  • i dont care what yall say this movie is one of my favorite movies of all time the music was spectacular and the story was ver well writen

  • @BCDL08 tv series was better

  • i want that bracelet she has. i have wanted one since the first time i saw that movie

  • Being a great fan of LIS when I was a kid, this movie was such a big disappointment. Why did they even bother?

Your an old timer. I'm not, this film was refreshing.

  • This is one of the last good sci-fi movies before cgi took over.

  • Good Sci-fi.... Honey, get out more, I was paid to be at the preview & even the die hard fans hated this rubbish it was embarresing & sad for such a fine ,fun show to be sent up & ruined by such a cheap crappy toy advertisment the "actors" were sleepwalking & the "Script" was mean spirited -Dr Smith as a Rock Spider--thats Child Molester in Prison slang....Sadly -It Killed Lost in Space FOREVER.

  • Well I saw it when I was 12 and it made me want to learn more about lost in space and sci-fi etc... to each their own I guess... but yes you're right, I do need to get out more.

  • I love the scene where they all tell him which way to go and he says "let me drive."

  • glad you didn't put that part with the spider smith monster. that just scared the shit out of me as a kid.

  • @marlyonama i know how you feel i nearly shit myself when spider version of dr smith

  • I loved this film. But of course the best thing in it was B9.

  • Being a great fan of LIS when I was a kid, this movie was such a big disappointment. Why did they even bother?

  • i ahvnt seen this movie in years, i couldn't remember the name, i like the bit with the spider thingies in the tunnel and he uses that epic armour best ever bit

  • this is really nothing compared to the spider smith monster

  • Can anyone post the launch scene (when they leave earth)?

  • I love that battle suit thing that Major West wears. Wish I had one of those...

  • how cute!

  • this is damn! nice!

  • lacey chabert is soo frigging hot. i had the biggest crush on her back then.

  • you and me both.

  • I still have a crush on Lacey =]

  • @portalplayer - I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt that way. I remember when I was in middle school I bought this movie on video just because it had her in it.

  • @portalplayer I still do.

  • @portalplayer I wish I had a time machine so I could go back to drill her

  • A better ending would be if they found Alpha Prime instead of just going to three planets

  • i had a huge crush on Matt LeBlanc at the time but since then i've come to appreciate the film for what it is.

  • i love this film =) 5/5

  • no point in calling this lame they wasted 80 000 000 bucks on this and they got 130 000 000 in return XD

  • thxxxxxxx o_0...

  • wts that young girl name ???!!

  • o_O ummm...its lacey chabert...shes older now tho...*walks away slowly*

  • She was born in 1981.. so I believe has 27 by now

  • @sirdaveysockrocker

    Yeah...back then she was every pedophile's dream...LoL!

  • shes like 30 now lol

  • 20 something. And beautiful now. She was on an episode of Ghost Whisperer.
