i've just read that you cannot use lumea if you have lesions
is it only if you have lesions under the skin? as i have just undergone an operation to remove a tumor from my brain and i would have bought this product by now but when i read that i started getting a bit iffy if it's safe for me

This could be painful and not comfortable. IPL hair removal can actually be more pleasant for sensitive skin than for example waxing or shaving, as it doesn't damage your skin (from pulling, scraping etc), but only treats the hair follicle below the skin. We do recommend you though to try Lumea first on a lower setting on a small part of your body to see how your skin responds.

For me it only has one down side, wich is that it takes too long to charge (about 1 hour) and while working (and depending on the intensity you choose) it will only last about 20 minutes. There for I take almost a day to do one leg, because I dont have a hole day of doing nothig, just waiting to use this machine!!! People at Philips, you should have made it possible to use it while charging the batery...
