  • Baha. Cumming.

  • RIP natasha

  • Can anyone message me a link to what this musical is about?

  • @Kyli1234

It is based on John Van Druten's 1951 play I Am a Camera, which in turn was adapted from the novel Goodbye to Berlin by Christopher Isherwood. Set in 1931 Berlin as the Nazis are rising to power, it focuses on nightlife at the seedy Kit Kat Klub and revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer Cliff Bradshaw.

  • Alan Cumming is nowhere near as good as Joel Grey

  • @coreygallai Agreed, agreed, agreed.

  • I love this version of the song.

  • She sounds like an old lady

  • @Nycinhollywood I think its a combination of a dramatic tone with a mocking childish tone.

  • @BeccaEve94 we didnt wonder. but thanks anyway :P

  • Personally, I think I prefer Jill Haworth's version, but this is a very good interpretation.

  • This is Alan Cumming? Seriously?! He sounds just like Joel Grey!

  • What great lyrics disguised as a mediocre cabaret revue song. "You can tell my grandma, suits me fine. Just yesterday she joined the line." Thanks for posting this. RIP Natasha,

  • Good God.. This is so shocking... May she rest in peace

  • I am in shock and disbalief! Why!! So young, beautiful, intelligent, and talented. My prayers go out to the Redgrave and Neeson families.

RIP Natasha, God Bless and Thank You for blessing the world with your grace and presence. We will never forget you and you will be missed!! :(

  • Rest in peace, Natasha. You will not be forgotten.

  • I'm an actress and it was Natasha's performance as Sally which I studied and was inspired by, when I played the part myself. She was an inspiration. May she rest in peace. x

  • You will be loved Natasha Richardson.. You were amazing in Cabaret... Sad day on Broadway :(

  • Totally agree. Why? I'm devastated, which is crazy because I didn't know her, but - this is mean, I know - with all the destructive idiots in the public eye, why take someone so beautiful, so talented, with a loving family that is crushed by this?

  • I'm still reeling in disbelief. I just can't believe that she's passed away.

  • why? why? death is so unfair...

  • Guys, this woman oozed talent. Natasha, you will be missed!
