  • learn russian easy with Sistri Tolmachievi! jejeje

  • The Russian talented girls! Russia for life!!! May god bless us all!

  • what Katyusha means ?

  • @o4444o It's a woman's name, I believe.

  • @Jh5kRadio yes, it's a woman's name in the army, and the world's 3rd weapon was named from her :P

    1.: Hydrogen bomb

    2.: Nuclear bomb

    3.: Katyusha

  • Thank you for this. I love this song! Even more now that I understand it.

  • I will wait for theese girls!!

  • me gusta mas la versión soviética...

  • И слёзы в глазах и не стыдно

  • и бойцу на далнем пограниче от катюшы передай привет!!!!!

the best song of all times

  • Очень хорошо!!! Это моя любимая песня!!!!

  • ОчеНь

  • haha Stalin killed 20 million of his own people. Celebrate!

  • I hate this queer remix version. They ruined the song Katyusha by making this.

  • it was

    very nice song.

  • HEY! HEY! HEY!!!

  • Omg what is this, who makes a stupid song about a fucking weapon!! LOL

  • @Spandex08 The weapon was nicknamed after the song, which actually was written before the war.

  • @BenAliGtor Oh i see. Sorry for my rude comment

  • @Spandex08 its actualy a girls name and this song is about a girl , the wepon was given a girls name later

  • HITLER KAPUTT ! ! ! thx. CCCP ! ;D

  • @guentherstoll

    hahaha greeting from greece!!!

  • @koutouloufas7 ephachisto! :D

  • Please understand that what I am about to say is meant with respect, not the intention to start a fight.

I think the girls are adorable, but part of me feels that this song-and all it represents to a people who paid the price of millions who gave their lives to defeat a ruthless and brutal invader- deserves better than an MTV type pop-contemporary format. I'm sure it wasn't meant to mock or belittle, but doesn't Katyusha deserve a more somber format?

  • @BenAliGtor originally it was a very positive song, its intended for joy and a mood raising in the heavy conditions of war. These were a lot similar songs of the war. You just have frequent stereotype that the Soviet military songs were somber.

  • @BenAliGtor You are right!

  • @BenAliGtor You are right!

  • @00eljavi23 1)Marxism is only a theory, in my opinion is outdated. (it did not even write what would be communism cuz real communism possible only after total automation industry)

2)Communism - just a project and was never been achieved - so it could not offended you.

3)Soviet era was far from your French => you wasn't be its victim.

So your hatred is not based on your personal experience, someone did infect you.

  • @00eljavi23 How can u hate what u never seen?

  • Russia did much harm to countries that wished to remain neutral in the Second World War and they are still maintaining communism in some of their victim countries!

    WE DON'T LIKE RUSSIA!!

    DEATH TO THE COMMUNISM!!!

  • @MrKenji112 It's amazing 2 see accusations of the USSR from Romania - which has been ally of Hitler! "Antonescu regime played a major role in the Holocaust , [ 66 ] following to a lesser extent the Nazi policy of oppression and massacre of the Jews , and Romma , primarily in the Eastern territories Romania recovered or occupied from the Soviet Union ( Transnistria ) and in Moldavia .[ 67 ] Jewish Holocaust victims totaled 469,000, including 325,000 in Bessarabia and Bukovina.[ 68 ]" wiki/Romania

  • Wow! How many times we sang this song at school :D But we add more part including the answer of the soldier.

"Tavasz lett és választ zúg a Volga, a szívekben felenged a fagy

Átölelném az egész világot, mert Katyusa te is benne vagy."

"Became spring and the Volga whirs the answer

    The frost is thawing

I would hug the whole world, because Katyusha you are there too."

  • Regards from Argentina. In this confuse current world, some things never die..This beautiful song, travelled all frontiers, and, no matter ideologies, is one of the russian souls . Sergio

  • pozdrav iz SRBIJE BRACO RUSI........greeting from Serbia Brothers Russians...........

    Приветствие от Сербии Братья русские

  • A more singable translation :

Blossoms graces the apple trees and pear trees.

Mist upon the river floated by,

Down Katusha came to gather berries,

On the cliff top rising steepe and high.

There she walked and there she started singing,

Of the dove-grey eagle of the stepp,

Of the one that she had her heart winging,

Of the one whoose letters she had kept.

  • Song of love her maiden love declaring, Chase the sun and speed without delay, Warmest greeting from Katusha bearing, To the border guardman far away. May the boy his village girl remember, May he hear her love of tenderness, May he guard his native land forever, And Katusha guard her love no less. Blossoms filled the apple trees and pear trees, Mist upon the river floated by, Down Katusha came to gather berries, On the cliff top rising steepe ang high.
  • @Sdeath34 BRAVO Никита! Очень талантливо. Ь!

  • I don't think that to learn russian is so hard but maybe I think so because I 'm from slovakia

    I love the song

  • DO U KNOW A SITE TO LEARN RUSSIAN?

  • no sorry....I'm learning it from my parents because they learned it in school

  • Heavenly! It just makes me happy.

  • russia used the song to fright soliders during war. Dont think it made them happy. (just saw it on national geografics.)

  • Oh didn't knew it. Perhaps soldiers has to be more frighten from a Katyusha rocket launcher, then this song!!

  • but it helped them defeat Nazi during WW2.

you`re probably an american, they used to judge the world by national gepgraphics. my grandmother who saw WW2 with her own eyes always said songs were a great thing to bring up the spirit and DID make the people happier.

  • привет

    Not american.European.

Jundge the world by national geografics? I dont watch that show. Just switched and reaconized Katjusha. A really cool song which i know by heart.

Did not mean to be offensive. I am sure it brought spirit to the russia soliders, but it was also frightning for the germans. I find it hillarious that such a joyful tune can make someone afraid.

I dont hope i judge the world by National G. If so I will have to say farewell to my sociology PHD.

    Dont be an a-hole.

  • (Show? read: Channel.)

  • (russia soliders? LOL read russian soliders.)

WOW I sound like a russian. (sorry Putin. I love Russia and I love St. Petersburg)

  • Having sociology PHD doesnt mean you arent an a-hole. When there`s nothing to say to the point, the only thing left is to wave with your education degree.

You must be joking that you thought the song was made also for frightening Nazi. Like any other war song it was made for strengthening the spirit of the army.

  • @Gfufybyb

Probable not MADE for frightening Nazis. But that was the effect and thats funny.

I hate when people wave their degree. Sorry about that. It was not my intention.

This is my last post about this matter.

    Have a nice day.

  • it was definitely..when they were in a dangerous situation they often began singing such songs,,one began and so it became more and more,,THIS was motherland spirit!!

  • @Gfufybyb I am an american. Most americans have no idea of what Russia suffered during the second world war.

  • @Gfufybyb Katyusha helped them but not like song only but also as a weapon. I do not know whether you're aware of it. Katyusha is weapon of World War II which can destroy 16 tanks with one shot. That Katyusha helped them more then song.

  • very nice, greetings from Serbia!
