yeah but the file is still there the huge sized file and its still taking up space say im a LP'er and 10 min vid is like 10gb and i have 90 parts thats 900gb and my computer dont got that much how do i get the space back from the original video?

i dont use MM, that was just an example of how to compress, i perfer using the raw files as the quality is alot better.

yeah but that doesn't solve the problem that it can reach the maximum amount of GB on your hard drive in 5 min i have a 250 and i had a 10 min recording i had to cut up into parts!

WOW? This is the easy way. Click the tab called Capture 2. Go to Compression 3. Click ever AVI or WMV9. If this help you more then this please say thanks =). Oh and you don't need to go through all the S*** of publishing you just have to click compression first then when your video is recording it should go other 1gb.

This little function you are talking about ONLY works on xp, or the xp versions of windows movie maker.

if you click wmv compression then it does. Some people are just too stupid to explore a program. How can it be that hard if i had no prior knowledge of recording and editing till i got my capture card. i found amcap and played around and it worked for me in colour and i discovered others was having problems so i told how to get colour. not how to get sound or use the program. i didnt think it was hard to know how to click record or take sound i found it all myself

OK, I will try again right now. But my videos lag just a little. Does having a lot of space filled up effect this?

it sounds and looks like its lagging whilst you are recording but the video is not. Also if it drops alot of frames if you have a slower computer, frame dropping is where the computer does not work fast enough to pick up everything that happens, you may loose .1 of a second to anywhere to 100 seconds or more. Also im uploading a new gears of war video sometime today and it will be up soon, subscribe to know when its up and you can see the quality, but i got 2 different vids in the one

yeas it works, chek owt the quality of my gta reveiw its dun via that method. a screen recorder program like the one i mentioned allows you to drag a window over the amcap, record the visuals digitally and recod the sound from the av cable. real time, no fuss, easy and best of all smal file size

anyone wanting to say, record thier ps3 onto their pc, use amcap to recieve the picture from your capture/tv card but dont record using this. using this drops frames and a 10 minute file can be a bout 10gb. so, open amcap, and record it by using auto screen recorder 3.0 pro. iots free. files are veryy small and thiers no need ot compress. if anyone finds this usefull let me know as i may do a video explaining how

hm, that might work, exept does this just capture what is going on, on your computer or does it directly capture your xbox360/ps3. if it records what is happening on the computer then it wont work as the sound is delayed when it comes through the capture card, it is then made un delayed when you record

that all depends on how big the file is not the length of the video, it could be a bigger file because you might add more effects, and it also depends on how fast your internet is, for me it took about 30 mins to upload a 60 meg video so i upload around 2 meg a min
