@azzageht I was at #64 Castlemilk Drive from 1970-1980.Was amazed at how much the old place has changed..especially all the old close's that are gone from the Drive & Machrie.

burooo,I can understand your wife's decision to not go back.I walked around the entire area and almost got lost,so many little houses have popped up, that it threw me off.

I walked past landmarks I knew as a kid and they didn't even register with me.

Loved the video and recognised all the places even though the old place has changed beyond everything I was born and brought up in. I left Castlemilk in the early 80's and don't think I would live there again.

Castlemilk as i remember it, the sun always shining, i grew up there went to Mitchellhill Primary and our flat looked onto the school. I loved it there

Jings that takes me back! I think they pulled down the street I used to live at (Bogany Terrace) Went to school at Mitchell Hill Primary. Great video and thanks for the memories. The place has fair changed since I was last there as a boy (1965).
