I think the advice given in this video is great for those who want an all-around healthy diet, however those who are looking for solid acne information will be disappointed because drinking water and eating fruits and vegetables will not clear up acne. Acne goes beyond diet and is actually caused by genetics. There are certain foods that can make already-existing acne worse however there is no food that can clear up acne.
actually there are foods that prevent acne. foods with antioxidants like grapes,berries, veggies, certain nuts but you cant just eat like 5 grapes and expect your acne not to surface you have to eat a LOT.

@calle899 No it's not. Your SUPPOSED to be eating fruit everyday in the first place. The fruit in sugar is natural sugar and not processed and there is a huge different between the two. Yes they are both sugar but fruit also contains vitamins and minerals so you aren't just eating pure sugar like you would be if eating processed sugar. I know so many people that have cleared their skin by eating more fruit.

@junkfood1991 First of all milk contains tons of hormones and antibiotics in them mostly injected but also from the lactating pregnant cow. Milk is best avoided if you suffer from acne. Experiment with dropping it from your diet.

@junkfood1991 Calcium is definitely needed to keep our bodies healthy. Milk isnt the only source for calcium. Raw fruits and vegetables also has calcium. Eating calcium supplements (500mg) everyday is a must.
Try drinking organic rice milk and eating rice milk yogurt.

I get acne if I eat nuts. I have very little acne but when I eat nuts I get more. They day after I had eaten a handful of almonds I got a white zit on my stomach.
I drink like half a liter of soda a day and i have bad back acne but not a single zit on my face... back acne is much harder to cure because it is hard to reach.
I am prone to acne due to very oily skin, and while not exactly a scientific test my skin completely cleared up with the combination of going on a very low-carb (started off actual atkins) diet with zero fruit but high fiber low-carb greens (celery, cucumber, salads) along with running on the treadmill three times a week and weight lifting two times a week, and my skin really cleared up. The odd thing is that the frequent exercise meant I was sweating heavily, yet skin was very clear. *dunno*
