  • Eeek! may not be RFI/EMI compliant with your posts and telecommunications bureau though!

And the poor radio blokes who licensed AM transmitters near 1.888 MHz may have some concerns too .

    Nice demo though! Carry on!

  • Great vidio!! Question I have made a power from air circuit. How can I use it to say help keep a battery charged.I hooked it up to a Joule thief and it burned-up my transistor and led : ( Is there some way to do it wireless ??? Thanks Tec

  • Five Star's. Thanks for sharing. Tec

  • Thanks..

  • Man, I was wondering if you can send electricity through the air :DD

  • hey thats cool! good to see more people doing this work, now everyone this is how the tesla earth wireless energy model works with the earth as the conducting wire! its neat running the wire a long distance from the tesla coil devices i made! people try to discredit me with the near field, but they are wrong, i got the energy going down the wire with 1000's of feet of wire and the energy is still quite strong and only one wire! thanks man for checking out my work too! great work!

  • Cheers, Im currently building a tesla coil too, I am strongly of the opinion that we don't know everything, as the way we view science can change... keep making videos!

We will have to swap info, PM me....

    Paul.

  • From your video it looked like the leds glowed when your finger was acting as an antenna as well. Is that right?

  • Yes, but not as brightly...

  • yes you are correct, in teslas notes he described this as a capacitive effect, it was like the finger or hand or metal body acts as a large capacity or surface area to further excite the bulb being run.

  • you have done a wonder ful job in all you have done!!!

    ist!!

  • Hey Paul, this is similar to the neon lighting because of the stray capacitance completing the circuit. The piece of foil acts as the capacitor. Putting the foil in the circuit allows the energy to flow through the transformer, lighting the LEDs, and then continuing on to ground through the foil capacitance. You can also think of it as impedance matching to permit the flow of energy into the load. Without the match the energy flowing through the wire is reflected back creating ringing.

  • When there is a break in a power line and the power utility wants to find the break they do a simple trick. They just put a single short pulse of voltage through the line and measure how long it takes for the reflection to come back to the power station. They know how fast the pulse travels so they can calculate the distance. If there is an open or a short, either way you get a reflection. The impedance mismatch causes the reflection.

  • The same process works for light waves. That's why you see a partial reflection in a pane of glass. There is a partial impedance mismatch between the air and the glass. Some of the light energy passes through the glass and some is reflected back. A huge impedance mismatch gives you a mirror and all of the light energy is reflected back. Sound, light, and electricity have a lot in common.

  • Looks exiting. Thanks for sharing. Very cool.

  • No problems, I think to many people like to keep secrets!

Thats why youtube is so good....

  • That so cool!!!

Try your connecting it to the sink if you have trouble getting a ground.

    Great Work

  • Thanks, I need to try it once its off the frequency generator as thats grounded, thanks for the idea though...

    Paul.

  • yeh i found the same thing with my ignition coil experiments, the ground will definitely work, or even some kind of capacitance ( i dont mean a capacitor!)..

I always thought it worked because of high voltage, but it must be due to resonance

  • Yeah, I think that about the capacitance too.
