  • One of my favorite films of all time.

  • & If you like Radiohead or their electronic influences, I recommend the music of Toru TAKEMITSU. He wrote the original music in Kaidan. It's extremely minimal, ghostly and experimental. In fact his music has a strange beauty inspired by nature, yet mixing avantgarde and Japanese traditional influxes. You can hear only a few seconds at the end of the video, so try to watch the original film.

  • Wow I can totally imagine this as the actual video for the song. It works so well.

  • I haven't edited anything here, except to cut studio logos at the start, so the song starts at the same moment the color drops into the water. Otherwise, my clip is just Kaidan's opening credits + the song. I saw this film a few years ago and it struck me instantly as coming from the same place as Kid A, even though it's a fantasy film about the samurai period. I love these credits so much, but the rest of the movie is very beautiful. You can find it entirely on YouTube.

  • copy and paste &fmt=18 to the end of the address, the video will look better
