Mostly because techno has a nice beat to work with and not alot of concentration has to go into the editing. I like to work with rock though, to me it tells a better story wich is what an amv is about in my eyes
great vid i recently came up with this music vid idea and asked a guy to make it for me, this one was pretty awesome so if he does make it, it'll be a feat to out do it
