McLaren was the fastest idd, but they increased the power of the engine with the cost of reliability... and it cost them the championship. Personally I think it was really stupid of them, they could have compromised with the speed and focus more on reliability and Kimi would have been the world champion.

I've watched so many crappy F1 review videos on YouTube. I have to say though, this one was like a breath of freshair. It really captured the emotions and excitment of what became a vintage season after the end of Schumi's reign.

Also, I don't like that the FIA revoked fuel intakes for pit-stops. It made so many close battles for postions on the track, especailly when there was a battle for the lead. Example, Barhrain 2006, Schumacher was in-front of Alonso by about 5 or 6 tenths and Alonso overtook Schumi after a tire and fuel pit-stop. If they revoked fuel intake stops in 2006, Schumi would have been out ahead of Alonso and Schumi would have won the race

This year was the year that the Bridgestone trie users were having a hard time with grip. The Bridgestone teams were having a hard time finding the right chassis setup and balance for their tires. If their was tire stops were allowed in 2005, it would have been a very close championship battle with Schumacher, Raikkonen, and Alonso.

I miss the days of the V10. The cars are so limited in this 09 season. F1 was all about pushing the bounderies of race technology. Now the cars have become just the opposite. I hope they go back to their cutting edge ways.

Well, if the budget cap gets to happen next season, teams who go this way will be able to finally develop their engines. And as far as i know, engine costs won`t be considered in the 40 million budget, so it's possible that next season we'll see more powerful engines reving at 20000 rpm once more.

Yeah in blowing up the engine. Alonso did what he had to do in a reliable car. And Raikkonen wasnt always faster. Because there were tracks Alonso dominated completely!

So i think Alonso is the deserved winner of 2005 AND 2006. And in 2011 in the Ferrari his 3th or maybe 4th titel will be accomplished:).

Super super vid. 2005 was and will forever be one of the best seasons of recent times. The U.S.A. race aside, every race was a belter. So wish the one set tyre rule for races was still in effect, it made the races tense and un predictable.

You can hardly blame 06 on Raikkonen, the Mclaren was a piece of shit, no where near as competitive as the ferrari or renault. Had kimi been in ferrari a year earlier the story may be so so different!
