It's possible. It just depends on how many people are in line before you. You can always just try and make your way to the front.

I got there about 8 minutes before they started letting people in. I was at the back of the line. I just made my way up when people would leave to get shirts and such. :)

It's really up to you. My show was pretty small. I'd say under 200 people were there. I think it depends on how big your venue is and how hard it is to the front. It was pretty easy for me since it was just an acoustic show, people weren't freaking out about having to be up in front and all smashed together like sardines. :D
