  • I don't get how Stewart is stupid....the joke is that Giuliani INCESSANTLY brings up 9/11 to push his political ambitions....Obama (or any other politician, Dem or Rep) do not do that.

Obviously, if a reporters asks a question to a politician pertaining to 9/11 then the person can answer it. But Giuliani shamelessly exploited 9/11 imagery to try and get elected. Republicans like myself correctly saw through the charade in the primaries and didn't vote for him.

    What do you think?

  • @sfarooqi1 I think you're wrong about Giuliai I think since he was in charge of thew emergency response to the attack, he genuinely has a concern about America's security. I think the press started saying he was "exploiting" 9/11 in order to be sure he would not be a threat to Øbama. Just like how the press savaged Sara Palin because they feared she might bring life to the McCain campaign. Stewart is stupid because he falls for the set up the press created just like you did.

  • @sfarooqi1 i think that deserves a thumbs up

  • @sfarooqi1 It's not that Stewart is stupid. It's that he stepped over the line on this. I see your point. But...

  • Giuliani is a criminal.

  • @mac9641 You will have to prove that accusation...

  • @marklross2 check out Payback: The Conspiracy to Destroy Michael Milken and His Financial Revolution. Very good book.

  • @mac9641 hmmmm ok...I'm alaways open to suggestions of good reading...

  • That's all you have is name calling?Any idiot can call somebody stupid. The only thing that I did that was stupid was waste time commenting on this dreck.5 thumbs up 67 thumbs down? Not because of your politics but because you're a fucking moron with a shitty video.People like you are the reason why Youtube sucks so much ass now. They will go to video looking for something legit and find something stupid like this.I'm done with you.I don't have the time and talking last doesn't make you right.

  • @DanielDamascusKimery All this coming from an idiot whose original comment was "Stop smoking crack." BA WA HA HA HA HA HA HA !

  • Ummm, yeah...im not getting it

  • @elkadir70 Ordinarily, i would take the time to explain it to someone who is slow....but the vid is so old now, I really don't care.....

  • @marklross2 Hahaha, well gee thanks but its probably just as well cuz i don't speak "shockingly ignorant dumbass" anyway.

  • Is this supposed to be a comeback against John stuart? Your just making a bigger case against yourself

  • @insanedemocrat3 No - it's too show how sycophantic idiots will come to Stewart's defense....

  • That's your comeback? Were you on crack when you made this. What did Barack Obama haft to do with Rudy Giuliani?Whats with the shitty back ground music and senseless interjections and replays?Your old, ugly, repetative, and redundant.Do the world a huge favor delete your youtube account then Kill yourself. You got 4 likes and 63 dislikes do the math.I'd rather get Rick Rolled than watch your shit!

  • @DanielDamascusKimery No comeback to your idiocy necessary...

  • @marklross2 My Idiocy? No come back necessary????????Yet you respond. You got nothing.Your responses are as stupid and pointless as your videos.I'm done here.I try not to spend too much time arguing with retarded people.

  • @DanielDamascusKimery Further stupidity noted...

  • Fail Big fucking Fail!Stop smoking Crack!

  • @DanielDamascusKimery Stupid comment noted...

  • sorry governments customer relations is a joke (witch my friends just reminded me of is us the people). You can't make everyone happy but can't you make it at least seem that you have greater society's best interest at heart

  • @rededison42 They don't even feel like they have to pretend anymore...

  • if by tea bagger means he cares about his country enough to be a better political annalist than the fox or msnbc tools who feed us this bs fed to us through our dear friends on capitol hill than yeah. We laugh at this guy but it's sad when our government is a joke.

  • context is the exact word Jon Stewart is a patriot.

  • @rededison42 oh - you mean he is a tea bagger....

  • John Stewart is a patriot.

  • marklross2, one word for you... context.

  • @nixtey9 Thank you...Everytime I claim Biblical verses are taken out of context, the atheists laugh - now you use the same argument.....

  • Giuliani was never funny.

He was just an opportunistic fuck who used his 9/11-status to campaign for the GOP.

He was more than willing to call liberals (roughly half of our country) "anti-American" or "terrorist sympathizers." I guess he doesn't care about the liberal 9/11 victims.

    Yeah, he's a saint.

  • @keyboardplaya You stupid fuck. You have no idea what you are talking about. Why are you such an idiot? Why do you say such stupid things? Giuliani did not say ALL liberals were "terrorist sympathizers." He was specifically referring to the liberal politicians who were his opponents who were acquiescent when it came to homeland security. If you really think he does not care about victims, it only proves what an idiot you are - yeah - your a genius......

  • @marklross2 lol. your an asshole.

  • @BattleGamerNews No wonder you keep trying to kiss me....

  • Wait, Bush sits on his ass and ignores memos from important members of his administration, resulting in the deaths of thousands, and OBAMA is a worthless bystander?

  • EXACTLY!!! Actually worse....

  • There is a massive difference between Obama mentioning 9/11 once, and Giuliani doing so more frequently than breathing in.

  • There is a massive difference between being a worthless bystander like Øbama, and actually having been directly involved with the 9/11 catastrophe....

  • Funny how the GOP cant go 10 seconds without bringing up 911. Yet what party ran the country when 911 happened? The GOP calls the dems weak and says they cant protect the nation. But again who was in charge when 911 happened? Case closed. Gulliani used 911 to run for president. He is a sick and evil person. He is in the right party.

  • You are an idiot. Why dd 911 happen? Because cunt licker Clinton took no action after the first WTC attack. Took no action after USS Cole. Took no action after embassy bombings. Fucked up Somalia.

  • Clinton took action. He ordered missile strikes on Taliban camps and almost got Bin Laden. Just cause Clinton didnt start a war with two countries doesnt mean he didnt take action. plus when a president is first briefed in the white house he is told about all possible threats to the US. Bush was briefed on the Taliban. I am not an idiot.

  • Bin Laden is Al Qaeda - not Taliban - no wonder Clinton missed...you ARE an idiot....

  • Al Qaeda is a segment of the Taliban. Most of Al Qaeda's leaders were once Taliban, they are very similar. The fact that you only argue that small difference instead of focusing on my point itself is proof that you conservatives simply have no clue. Deny it. Argue that Clinton never tried! Plus you said "Clinton missed" How many times did Bush PROMISE or GUARANTEE he would find Bin Laden? Did he? He found Saddam in a few years. But not Osama. Im not an idiot.

  • marklross2 I think you don't really understand anything that's going on, including the point you're trying to make. What is your point?

    get off the dope.

  • YOU don't understand - obviously - this video is not hard to figure out - go ask a kindergartner to explain it to you....

  • @marklross2 no seriously explain it to me, clearly i'm too stupid to understand the sophisticated nuances of your video masterpiece.

  • Sorry - your stupidity is not my concern....

  • @marklross2 no really here is your chance to clearly express whatever case you are trying to make. What's your point?

  • @deland73 wow. because I'm bored I looked at your profile, holy shit your 50!!!! I thought I was talking to somebody at most in their early twenties. A little advice, move out of your mothers basement, and start thinking for your self.

  • at yourself? - obviously confused.....

  • Comment removed

  • Obama mentioned 9/11 when he was ASKED A QUESTION ABOUT IT.

Guiliani RAN AN ENTIRE CAMPAIGN ON IT. He mentioned it EVERY CHANCE HE GOT.

Watch how many times he mentioned it in one speech:

    /watch?v=4L2FwHqDjSw

  • Where was Obama on 9/11? In some Chicago community organization office...Where was Giuliani? IN FUCKING NEW YORK CITY You douche.....

  • Yeah. He was in NYC. So were millions of other people.

Should Obama have been flown out there beforehand?

Should Bush have told him that it was going to happen so that he could be there? After all, Bush knew very well that an attack in the US by al-qaeda was imminent all along.

  • Just the same nonsense video over and over. What is the matter with you?

  • Appealing to an audience of ADD libbys that's what.......

  • Yeah, marklross2, he's a comedian, they use humor to make a point. And all he was doing was making fun of how Giuliani and the Republicans were shamelessly exploiting 9/11.

He said their selection of New York for the convention had nothing to do with 9/11, but then he flogged in every single speech. FDNY blames this guy for the firefighters who died because he gave them defective radios, he wouldn't let FDNY retrieve their friend's bodies, and he had them arrested when they protested this.

  • Jon Stewart is a hack for the Left.

  • A shill...

  • jon stewart is the shit

  • shit for brains maybe......

  • why dont u like him???

  • oh - don't get me wrong. I like a lot of his schtick. Just in this one incident, I think his satire was over the line...

  • ahh gotcha haha yea he does do it sometimes lol, but hes not bought out eve nwhen he goes too far

  • this video sucks....but... john stewart is a fucking douche bag period.... he must be pissed that the colbert report soared over him... thats what he gets for being so fucking biased and trying to put his opinion in wherever he can at the expense of comedy

  • ummm....

  • It would be nice to see what he actually said on the matter rather than look at the clips from the interview that have been cut and pasted together...

  • Make your own video then....

  • I don't mean it in that sense. The point I'm trying to make is that your video holds no water. By pasting words out of context you can't prove a valid point. All you're doing is presenting half-truths here. In fact, I'm not even sure what you're trying to convey....

  • oh - i see - how about i recut the video so it delivers the message you agree with instead of the message it currently conveys - will that make you happy?

    putz......

  • Yes, add a personal insult in there, that will solve problems. I'm not suggesting you change the video to what I agree with. Hell, I may even be on the same side as you, but I don't know because the video is confusing. I think arguments must be made and won by using the source in context, rather than cutting pieces. I don't think Obama is doing a good job...what are you trying to convey in this video?

  • This video has nothing to do with Obama. /It has to do with who the video is entitled after....

  • haha.. Agreed. What exactly is the point? .. marklross2 cuts clips almost aswell as Fox News.

  • but nobody cuts and splices like msnbc..

  • Ahh yes.. Very true.

  • P.S. Obama doesn't mean use 9/11 as fear mongering and Jon Stewart isn't suggesting that we forget it ever happened.

  • Right - Neither did Giuliani..

  • Comment removed

  • Didn't mean to remove my comment lol, but now I forgot what I said. lol.

  • Are you fucking crazy? are you fucking for real? We are not the god damn world police. Why don't we stop other human rights violations? Iraq was bullshit, we shouldn't have gone, more people are dying than we saved. Keep trying to defend this terrible political decision. No matter how you look at it, more damage has been done than good.

  • Wrong - Why don't you ask the millions of freed Iraqis if the war to liberate them was wrong...

  • Nice. I bet they love all the random bombings and deaths that happen daily, the armed malitia's that rove their nation, plus the american military controlling their country. They absolutely LOVE what we've done with the place. Jesus you sound like you're selling a crappy house that you tried to flip, but totally failed. BTW my first comment was aimed towards Nate2203, who I agree with. Freed from what> Now the women have less freedom than they started with. Smart move.

  • Prove your claim about the women - did women vote under the Hussein regime? Your parrot points are lame. Our military doesn't control the country. THEIR military has all but taken the lead. THEIR government is defining withdrawal timelines or don't you even pay attention to what is actually going on?

  • They've been talking about withdrawl since 2004! What do you know? we're still there.

"THEIR military has all BUT taken the lead." THAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!!!!!

Funny how you chose to only respond to the women rights point, and not the ones about random suicide bombings every day and civil war. Because you know their true. It doesn't help to be able to vote if you're blown up on your way there. We have not done anything good in Iraq. DEAL WITH IT!

  • Stick your head back up Keith Olbermann's ass you dimwit. Progress is made EVERYDAY that you ignore. Go ahead - keep drinkin' the koolaid and hating America. History will eventually fuck you...

  • THERE IT IS! YOU JUST SAID I HATE AMERICA BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THE WAR!!!!!!!! ARE YOU FUCKING FOR REAL!!!!!!!!????? BRINGING THE TROOPS HOME IS THE BEST WAY TO KEEP THEM SAFE YOU FUCKING IDIOT! Is that your idea of patriotism? Never question the administration? I'm a fucking American god damn it. Questioning authority was the birth of this nation. So go FUCK yourself for that horse shit response you just came up with!!!! What does Keith Olbermann have to do with anything? I don't watch him.

  • Why don't you ask the millions of Iraqis why they didn't rise up and fight for their own freedom? They didn't seem to want it too bad to me.

  • I don't know, why don't you go ask the insurgents yourself?

  • I remember watching that debate thinking, God, he's beating a dead horse. And they all were, but Rudy was the worst. Yes, 9/11 was horrible, yes we need to prevent it from ever happening again. The problem is that the Republicans seem to think that the way to do it is by taking over the rest of the world. The whole debate was about national security and foreign policy...and how Ron Paul had a totally different stance than the rest of them. Rudy was whoring out 9/11.

  • Nope - that's just your media skewed view of his honest concern. Your comment about Republicans wanting to "take over thew world" is stupid as t is wrong....

  • It wasn't media skewed, I was cringing while I watched it, not afterward, so the media had absolutely nothing to do with it. And I doubt that they are actually trying to take over the world, but it seems like it. They start wars without being attacked(Iraq) because "the could possibly atack us in the future", that's every country bud.

  • You were cringing because you misunderstood. When should we take action against regimes that violate human rights? If you are unwilling to take action, stop donating to Amnesty Int'l.

  • We are not the world police! We should HELP people when they actually grow the balls to stand up for themselves, not try to justify an unjust war which we were conned into by misinformation. I didn't misunderstand shit, the reason why I cringed is because Rudy obviously had zero good ideas to run on and was just spouting off 9/11 this and 9/11 that to make his campaign have some sort of legitimacy.

  • He wasn't spouting off - he was there. No wonder he has extra concern. "We are not the world police!" OK I agree - so stop whining about Darfur....

  • I'm not whining, I'm pointing out a WORSE situation than Iraq as far as human rights are concerned. So human rights should have no say in whether it was a good Idea to go into the country in the first place. I'm in no way suggesting that we go into Sudan as a county, maybe as individuals, but deinately not as a country...He definitly was whoring his position as mayor of New York during 9/11/01 for political gain, it was pretty blatant.

  • I do not distrust his motives as you do. So, I disagree. I think it is impossible to understand his perspective on 9/11. If we are not to be a defender of human rights, disband the UN, get rid of Amnesty Int'l. and stop blaming the US for the world's problems and fine - I'll be happy...

  • We don't have to disband the UN(I wouldn't mind it though) and get rid of Amnesty International, that's kind of extreme. All we have to do is not invade other countries by ourselves with little international support. That's it.

  • So, now you're saying that as long as there is international consensus human rights IS a reason to invade....make up your mind. Sounds more like you just don't trust that America can be right about something the rest of the world is wrong about...

  • No, it would just be better than no international consensus. I'd prefer the disbanding of the UN, but I doubt that will happen anytime soon, so I'll take the small step of not invading countries to tell them how their governments should be run all by ourselves.

  • What if there is a case of genocidal human rights violation occurring that YOU are sure of, but the government of Zambia is not on board?

  • that is only one government, if every government besides Zambia was on board, then we would go in and stop it.

  • oh ok, so it's majority rule...but what if the exact same situation is occurring, but only the U.S. and Zambia believe something should be done? Is the genocide suddenly not as bad?

  • I wasn't talking about his motives, fact is, he made 9/11 references a bunch of times, he was the mayor of NY when it happened, and that's all the guy seemed to know about anything.

  • What you just said sounds kind of bad, but I understand what you're saying, you're saying that if we were so concerned about Iraq because of the human rights violation, then why weren't we equally or not more so concerned about darfur, and I agree. The arguement about Human Rights is a cover up because they can't just admitt that they FUCKED UP.

  • no - you don't understand. The war was always about human rights. Its just that there was no way to convince the liberal hypocrites to take action unless they made up other bullshit about wmd's and the like. THAT was their fuck up...

  • The government never wants to own up to their mess.

  • you are so right - Obama is already flip flopping on promises and covering up his mistakes...

  • exactly, they all do it. But I was talking about the government as a whole, stuff that both Dems and Reps both endorsed fully that were just plain wrong(Iraq war, Marijuana Prohibition)

  • yes - oh well....

  • Comment removed

  • There are worse violations of human rights, specifically Darfur, which we have pretty much done jack shit to help, and they need it way more than the Iraqis did.

  • wtf is this about

  • if you don't know - you don't need to know...

  • yeah, or maybe you are just a retard or a really horrible communicator

  • Nope - obviously - plenty of other people got it and commented, so I guess your supposition is incorrect...

  • using September 11th as a political football is not honoring the victims families. Notice Obama didn't bring up 9-11 first..... rudy did the exact opposite... he initiated the subject matter.

  • notice Rudy was there? Obama was not... Rudy did not use 911 as a political football...

  • maybe Obama wasn't there, but Jon Stewart WAS...and yet, it seems to be okay to criticize him. But, somehow, its not okay to criticize Guliani?

  • Actually, Rudy DID indeed use it as a political football. And using the deaths of 1000s just to further your own political ambitions is disgusting.

It was disgusting when Bush and Cheney used 9/11 to further an unrelated war, and it was disgusting when Rudy used 9/11 to try and take the presidency. Luckily, with Rudy, people saw through the ruse.

  • what the HELL?! is your problem with Jon Stewart? Why do you spend time critisizing him all the time? It's satire what he does... Really, it's just pointless.

  • I don't criticize JS ALL THE TIME. He was wrong about this particular issue. What - do you think he is infallible?

  • lol, no he is a COMEDIAN.xDHe never said that TDS was supposed to be news, infact he said it was sad that people thought it was... It's just satire, it's not 100 correct all the time.

  • exactly - that is why other news agencies and you toobers constantly use TDS as if it were legitimate info, and come to the defense of JS like rabid dogs when anyone like me criticizes him...0.

  • Because it's not meant to be taken seriosly. it's not news, but sometimes it's just great to cut through all the theathrical drama and stuff, which people really like. And some watch it, because all the other news are so biased and theatrical. they then make fun of how crazy things are. I just don't understand why you do it, when it's just a comedy show.

  • i don't DO it... i DID it once - because too many people unlike yourself, do not realize it's just satire...

  • Well. i'm not american and to me it seems like they take the news, make fun of the hypocrisy there is, and that's what they do, Alot of people can relate to their fruststraition about the things, and share they view on how the news are not doing the job they are supposed to to. I mean, did you see how the obsessed over celebs death, and tries to create drama. It's just mind blowing. Yes it's satire, but many people watch it. cause it cut through that BS.

  • when you consider that satire usually involves creating an alternate scenario to the reality, i would hardly consider it 2b "cutting thru" the bull, but - whatever...

  • Yeah true, and sometimes it does'nt, sometimes it's just funny, silly things... That's the main point. To entertain. The show is very unique. But sometimes it dares to critisize things that the news are to biased to critisize. Well, that's the way i see it. btw, I want to apolegize for the first comment, it was kinda rude. i still stand by my oppinon though:)

  • no worries, i am often premature in whipping out my "internet personality" too..

  • Hehe, okay;)

  • Way to go, Mark!

Finally, someone else who understands how "stupid" it is to brilliantly skewer a man who uses an horrific tragedy for personal gain.

    Again, really a terrific video.

  • You are wrong...Giuliani did not use 9/11 for personal gain.

  • "You are wrong...Giuliani did not use 9/11 for personal gain."

Someone wasn't watching the republican primary debates... I, for one, watched all of them from start to finish. And yeah, Rudy mentioned 9/11 every other word, and it indeed was disgusting and exploitative.

  • You got the wrong impression. Also, the media influenced your judgement. I watched the debates too. All I saw was some one who personally lived through the horror talking aabout the experience uin the interest of preventing a recurrence. The media labeled as exploitation, and you bought it. What a shame...

  • what a retarded video

  • what a "mentally challenged" comment...

  • oh how hilarious

  • I'm glad you got a kick out of it...

  • it ain't clever, stop wasting drive space on youtube.

  • you disagree - so - "it ain't clever"

    what a surprise

how 'bout you stop wasting my time...

  • How am I wasting your time? Do I have you at gunpoint looking at youtube? It is you, my friend, that is appearing to be wasting your time. "Damn it Mark!!!" lol :P

  • ha! THIS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO INITIATED THIS EXCHANGE BY MAKING COMMENT. LOOK IN THE MIRROR LOSER...

  • lol... time well spent... thx man

  • I mean...you even...you even showed the questioner asking about 9/11, with Obama responding with using the phrase "9/11."

It's like...you just canceled your entire argument/joke/whatever-the-hell-you-call-this video.

Is it possible to be as oblivious as you?

  • Obviously...

  • Well as long as you acknowledge that you're a moron, then keep at it.

  • I don't care that you are a Jon Stewart sycophant.

On that one subject, he crossed the line, and you are a bead of nutsack sweat...

  • That just makes you < nutsack sweat.

    =/

  • Oh - you're the kind of internet idiot who plays "I'm rubber you're glue" games...bye...

  • And you're the kind of idiot who never understands simple human logic a 5 year old could understand...bye...

  • Most people just give up...you are a tenacious "i want the last word" internet maven, I'll grant you that...

  • Because you're not?

At least I don't lie about stupid shit like "I have an auto responder."

  • Ha! Sometimes it works! I just get tired of sparring with idiots like you who really don't have anything useful to say, but feel compelled to make comment anyway...

  • apparently someone didn't notice that Obama mentioned 9/11 in answering a question, while Giuliani does so as regularly as breathing in, whether it's solicited or not.

  • Apparently someone didn't notice that Giuliani was there...

  • marklross, I can't believe I stumbled on another of your dopey, confused vids. Yikes. You obviously like to edit but have no talent for it. Please stop cluttering up youtube.

  • Oh - I know - editing digital media with points and clicks with a mouse should only be done by unionized, qualified, professional editors who took ITT tech school's six week course in video editing...

  • marklross, you just don't get it.

  • Fill me in - please!

  • Well done. I felt certain you would pass the test by responding quickly. I imagine you staring at your screen, waiting for some commenter to tell you once again your vids are full of crap. You don't mind, of course. Negative attention is still attention, right? Now turn on that filter that makes your face look like a pile of sticks and make a response.

  • See my vid "identity"
