You guys are funny. He probably means, why didn't you throw it while attached to the bungee, so that it would climb away instead of getting drug along like this.
I would rig up a wing-tip guard to keep the wings from dragging, or a slightly elevated launch ramp. Glad to hear the damage was minimal and it's flying again.
I have just bought a DG1000 form Sola Distribution, the carbon joiner snapped nearly straight away so I have replaced it with some piano wire. Also, is this model sensitive to having the cg too far back, as after I bungee launch the model rocks it's wings and is all over the place, I also had it spin in. With the cg set up as in the instructions the plane dived into the ground!. So maybe the incidence of the tail needs correcting on my model, any feedback?
Ohh, feel for man, but next time, give it a hand launch, or if you want that proper scale lauch, try a winch and accelerate it slowly.

I just wonder why was the glider launched from the ground?????????
Launching it from hand could have avoided this accident.

@OMHLL He`s not on a slope, he has no motor and you cant do the discus launch with one of those. How high do you think he could throw it ?

There is some misalignment the plane and line, which will cause the yaw problem.
