I'd love to say that New Found Glory is better than Paramore, I'd really love to say that, but I can't. Sure they paved the way for plenty of pop punk bands, but music-wise, they suck. They're catchy as hell, but also generic as hell. At least Paramore (as overrated and watered down as they are) sound original.

How can anyone criticize NFG by saying there too common sounding? They've influenced 100 times more bands than paramore, had a bigger impact on the underground music scene (which is where the real fans and real music is) and if it weren't for them paramore probably wouldn't even be around. This isn't a go at paramore at all, i i like the band, but come on think logical, NFG have a way bigger stamp on music and make better music. Mainstream popularity counts for nothing!
