"with out an internet connection" well if its an email service would it not be some type of internet connection? also when the wrong person gets the email address, people can spam the crap out of this and it would print it all? nice idea but for the price of 12.50-15 bucks a month ill give them a pc with dialup for 10 a month, and they can play solitaire! 10/10 DJSP another great mix!

Just for grins, I looked the thing up... machine costs 75 bucks, and the services costs as little as 12.50 (or 15 bucks a month if you don't buy a year's worth).... it takes HP cartridges, which is surprising, but whatever... However, nobody's said what happens if you pick up the phone while it's printing, since it uses the phone line...

@conradragzoff Yeah, plus I still think you could rig up an ordinary FAX machine to print upon receipt of email. I have heard about Email to FAX programs and software for years. IMO all HP has done is just cram that technology into a dedicated box to scalp all the n00bs.

No spam. There is a solid white list of approved senders that is either managed by a family member or by "grandma" by Presto's toll free customer service people. There is nothing for grandma to do other than pick up the paper when it prints out and read it (and occasionally replace paper and one ink cartridge).
