seen a lot of requests for this tab! if you would like it please leave a comment on my channel or one of my guitar covers and will send you a copy of them!!
A grand version indeed ! It's an ancient tune composed by a musician named McNamara from County Mayo. It was said to have been taken up by the Fiddle players of West Clare, when they heard the souls of The Wild Geese (exiled leaders) singing it on a ghost ship returning their spirits to Ireland (1600's).
I used often play this with my old friend piper Ronan Browne. You do a lovely, sensitive version - Thank You.
i've used my guitar into a line 6 multi effects (delay and chorus) but i kept the volume very low, so the main sound comes from the guitar. i've used the capo at 2nd fret because i think otherwise the general mood becomes too 'dark'
i think it's worth buying it, so you'll find some other good pieces to play..if you'll have problems to find it, i can mail you this one, if you give me your mail. ciao
I really like the Franco Marone arrangemnt. I play the Pat Kirtley version (also in DADGAD) but would like to learn this one as well. Do you have the tab?
Great work man, can you send me the tabs please?
