  • what mb/s settings is this for 720p?

  • @ferencowa These are my old settings that I have to switch cards for. It's 60fps 720p at 75mbs. My new one which allows me to switch frame rate within the card is only ~55ish and I can't tell any significant difference.

  • That skate ramp co. must make a lot o cash. see that junk everywhere

  • Wow...groovy man!

  • Hello awesome video! but how can you get the video playing 60fps?

  • @Haxuu What do you use to edit?

  • @StanlyTieProductions Sony vegas 9 pro, and AE

  • @Haxuu okay. so with vegas... if you shoot in 60 fps, insert the clip... right click, then change playback rate to .4

This should give you smooth motion.. be sure that your project is in 24fps not 60fps or else vegas will try to resample.... if you're mixing 60 and 24 (or other frame rates) be sure to highlight everything>rightclick>switches>disable resample. This prevents vegas from trying to create frames

  • @StanlyTieProductions My camera records 50i, do you know the playback rate to fit that?

Anyways i did a test, project: 24 fps, playback rate 0.4, it is pretty good but sliightly lagging.

  • @Haxuu well then, If your cam records in 50i, then here,s what you do

Import clip. Match the project properties to the clip, *except change the framrate to 29.97 NTSC (30fps) Within project settings, Find a de-interlace method that's good for you.... I used BLEND FIELDS. But you can also try Interpolate Fields.

In order to find the playback rate, do the higher number divided by the lower one. 50/30= 0.6. *SO, CHANGE PLAYBACK TO .6*

Drop the clip in your timeline.

  • @StanlyTieProductions Try 30fps and .5 playback rate. Youtube doesn't support 24p so that would be smoother right?

  • @AQColors Oh really? Had no clue youtube didn't support 24p. Weird, you think a website dedicated toward videos would support a really popular framerate... odd.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll give it a try

  • @StanlyTieProductions No problem. Good luck.
