@bigredneckdoggystyle I grew up in the 90s/00s but I still love music! I listened to the Kinks, the Beatles, the Who etc as a teenager rather than McFly and Girls Aloud. I am actually jealous of everyone who grew up in the 60s, who had good music to listen to all around them. I detest the music of my generation - its appauling at best. Infact, I haven't even looked at the charts since the Kaiser Chiefs had their last chart hit a few years ago.
just think gen Y all of your rubbish will be dead and buried yet gen Xs stuff will be forever remembered and rehashed every 10/20 years ad nauseum LOLZ m49
Bonjour, vous aimez les sixties ? écoutez et podcastez mon émission "le super son des 60's" sur le site de plumfm. You like the 60's ? please, listen and podcast my broadcast "le super son des 60's", connect to "plumfm". Salut et faites gaffe au rock and roll.
@MrTrevormctrevor Ok Mastermind! how then could they possibly still going with tonnes of adoring fans for over 40 years later!! ask urself that?? der, but agree earlier stuff was beta, it doesnt take a genius to work out all the greatest acts/band did their best stuff in their earlier years!! Rod Stewart, Bowie other examples?
Finally! They are playing the songs that I have always wanted them to do but never would until now. I am so happy they have added these great classics to their song list. These are my two favorite songs and also Elizabeth Dreams too!
Llandudnos Venue Cymru now has the third largest stage in the Uk being built principally for the welsh National Opera who insisted on such a large stage.
How do i know it's the third largest in the Uk, well im a steward there and usually stand on door B so i should know .
I still have both 45's... I bought when I was a kid... "pictures" was the first song I learned to play on guitar... another great song is "When My Mind Is Not Live" on the flip side...
I was at Milton Keynes bowl for Quo's end of the road tour in 1984!!!. They are still rocking 24 years later and can't give up. They are still a great act to see live. Rock on fella's.
